Thumbs up Outran chipped '91 Camaro with my stock '03 Outback Sport

A friend of mine has a 1991 Camaro RS with a 350, 5-speed manual with a super chip in it. We were heading to his house one day after school (he was going to show me his new computer, but that doesn't really matter). One of the main highways out of town is a two lane with an intersection right before it. So it was a red light and I was ahead of him. He cut trough traffic and lined up with me, rolls down his window and he's like "Hey, on green we'll run it.". I was actually a bit nervous, either I'd outrun him and get pulled over or I'd lose and there would be more 'lesbian mom' jokes . I'd never pushed my car before; I've always figured that if I'm good to the car it will be good to me in return for 200k+ miles. Then, the light turned green. That was the first time I've floored it in my little Subie. It bogged down for a second (made me a bit nervous) then she kicked back in and took off. It spun all four tires!! I was shocked! after about a quarter of a mile, I was already past him going about 70 in a 45 so I decided to slow down. The best part was the look he had on his face when I zipped past him . So, after that little endeavor, I will never doubt my little Subie. You guys are insane to modify these things!

Yeah... street racing is frowned upon on here. I realize that you weren't blatantly trying to kill someone or anything, but definitely are going to have to keep these stories to yourself. So, don't be freaked out when the thread gets locked.

Read the stickies at the top of the forum and you'll see street racing posts are not allowed nor cared for. Racing of any form on public roads is simply dumb and illegal and we refuse to promote such things.
