06wrx tmic on ej20G

Has anyone had any success running a newer style tmic on the ej20g? I did a test fit and it seemed like it wouldn't take a whole lot of work to get it to fit. Would it even be an upgrade over the silver slanty? It looks like with a little tubing you could get the newer bypass valve plumbed in. Thoughts

the only issue is the BPV hits on the IAC. if you can get around this. it will fit.

I have a newstyle wrx tmic on my 93 wrx. Mines from an 03-04 I think. The previous owner had it custom fabricated so that the bov was relocated to the other side.

I still havent resolved the issue of tmic ducting from the hood scoop though.

You will need to fabricate a new y-pipe to make it work. The previous owner did a piss poor job on that aspect. I replaced their shoddy plastic improvisation of the stock plastic y-pipe with a silicon y-pipe, a silicon elbow, and whole bunch of t-bolt clamps.
