Ah well that sucks.

Why get the STi trunk to begin with? Why not just the wing?

Some get it some don't. O well not really my problem.

BTW never said your car didn't look nice. It looks awesome but I wouldn't say this is more form over function then your civic was.

Really? I lurk both forums and IMO there seems to be more haters here - just check out how purplewrx just drops by and hates on a guy's build thread

It seems, though, that some arguments can get more heated on i-club.

Then again, it's the intardnets. Some folks just are not as nice in written text than in person. The very few folks from i-club I've met in person are your typical car guys and very fun to chat with.

The whole hellaflush thing isn't really my style, but you did it well. Car looks real nice.

I would just pick up a WRX badge to replace the STi one on the trunk. If there's a hole behind it that should cover it nicely, and it won't seem like you're trying to make people think you have an STi. Shouldn't cost more than a couple bucks.

I was going to say you should hit the track with your car to shut the trolls up.....but trolls are going to be trolls

Also, what is with the STi badge when its not an STi? Debadging isnt that difficult. Unless of course you want people to think you have an STi.
its way more functional, its not as tucked or as stretched. i can corner pretty hard and it handles great on the back roads, once i get more money ill change things up for bigger power gains.

you have to cut holes in your trunk, i plan on going wingless soon and didnt want to take off the badges because some people are anal about it.

I don't know man.....for some reason, a SWP sedan just seems to look better with the STi wing. Most especially with the view from the rear, where the angle of the wing seems to be in line with the angle of the wheels&tires.

All other colors, wingless.

But my opinion is not worth anything, I have a hatchback

Picked up CS Type 1 Rep Lip and traded AEM Intake for the Cobb SF one and showed at Wekfest Long Beach 2012.

I love the car, but I too was expecting something different when you said you were going for a form > function look with the WRX compared to your previous FA5. Definitely wouldn't consider this very functional... but it looks great. One of my favorite new gen sedans I've seen. Well done.

I'm always confused with people thinking just because it's a Subaru it is only met to be a 101% track car and if not tracked your considered a fool. I tracked my car once. Was fun but prefer just a nice dd running a set up like this guy.

Just seems like every car make/model comes with its own expectations. Hondas slammed (had an fg2 myself) scoob/Evo track cars and so on.

Your car your style your money your taste.

Love the car mayn!!

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.
Imo-Love the color, the rear spoiler, the wheels seem nice but the tires do seem a bit stretched honestly. As for the suspension I feel you are a little to low but I guess it works for you. For some greater handling, you should look into getting some swaybars for even better handling!

sweet ride. I was wanting to do most of the exact same visual mods to mine (though not as low) which is gonna leave us with two very similar cars lol... mine is an 11 wrx swp base too, at least i'll have different wheels (ssr type f, i hate backorder), keep it up man and i'll be checking on this to see your progress.
