Default About reshelling doors.

I have an 02 Wrx and have a good dent in the door and want to know if anyone had it reshelled/replaced and how much it cost or how they did it. Or is my best option to buy a used door?

Subaru doesnt make door skins. Your only option is either fixing it or getting a new/used door. How big is the dent? Post up the picture.

yep.

the new doors are actually pretty well priced. Had to replace one on my bugeye and I was quite surprised at how cheap it was. There was a guy in the maic forum who gave us a nice discount and if I remember right it was under 200 bucks for a new door.

Replaced 3 doors on my wrx. Unplug the harness under the carpet inside the car, unbolt doors while somebody holds it in place, unscrew the door plunger, and it comes right off. The tricky part is lining up the new door(s) correctly so it's smooth closing and the latch doesn't rub.

Your best bet is definitely finding a used door for sale on here. Will usually come with glass and the harness and everything you need to bolt it right up. Good luck!
