Thanks for the kind comments guys! I appreciate it!

Ethan - Your car looks unbelievably good... Hopefully someday soon i will be finished with mine! Feel free to post more pics of your car in my thread! I'm sure i'm not the only one who would like to see some!

Slowly but surely things are coming along nicely.... I have an update with the roof 95% complete. All sides are tucked cleanly but didn't finish the sunroof because i got caught up watching an Anderson Silva flick lol anyways... at least i have a better picture in my head of how this thing is going to turn out! I think the gloss black roof will blend in the sunroof quite well opposed to matte black, which i almost ended up doing and very happy i didn't!

I must say vinyl wrapping a car is not the "piece of cake job" I had imagined it to be lol. My patience has never in my life been tested quite like this before! I am going to be so thankful once the job is complete.

If I had a dark colored car I would have most definitely gone with a matte dark gray on black wheels. That imo is the ultimate! Keep me posted on what you decide on I would love to see it!

I have a couple more pics of the roof now that it is 100% complete and cleaned. Came out so good i can't even tell you how much better it looks in person....I apologize for having nothing other than a *****ty cell phone to take pictures. I promise once it is finished i'll have a buddy of mine do a nice shoot to post up here for you guys and gals. I have the next three days off so i hope i have enough time to finish or at least get very close to completion. Enough talking:

Thanks for looking everyone!

Nice!!! That matte white looks real good. Also dig the roof.

Question about Vinyl wrapping. When its time to take it off, if you desire, does it just peel off? Is there any sticky residue left over? I'm foriegn to this is stuff. Thanks.

I cannot give you a definite answer because this is my first time working with vinyl and have not had vinyl on long-term. but from what i have heard... when you remove the vinyl, no adhesive is left behind. UNLESS! you use primer. I have used primer on more than a few areas to promote adhesion where the vinyl would most likely lift. You know like in areas where you may have stretched more than others, or deep concaves etc etc. If adhesive IS left behind...it's nothing that a little rubbing alcohol couldn't take care of!

I love the way your car is turning out! I'm looking to do something very similar with my roof.

Did you drop your headliner to remove your antenna or did you cut around?

Thanks man! The roof isn't very difficult just takes more time with a sunroof. Two people is a must though, thankfully I have a girlfriend that had learned alot along the way aswell lol! To answer your question...
Yes, I did drop the headliner. But only half of it. Just removed the rear pillars, oh **** handles, and the three push pins holding the rear of the headliner to the ceiling. It's a tight squeeze back there but you'll manage. Definitely worth the time to take it out for a clean install. You need a crescent wrench to remove the nut under neath and your good to go! Don't forget to un clip the harness of course!
Let me know if you have any questions I'd be glad to help with anything I can! That applies to anyone who views this thread.

I pulled the car out a little bit ago to see how she looks in sunlight, and because i haven't fired her up in 3 weeks wanted to hear some rumble! I cannot believe how bright this thing is! HUGE difference compared to SWP. I almost needed my shades on with the sun reflecting off the hood into my face! Ok ok i might be exaggerating a tiny bit but i coudn't believe it! Pics don't do it justice that's for sure. I really miss driving my baby hopefully soon she'll be back on the road! Here's another for you all:

Grim - thanks man

Mini - That looks great! I wish I had that clean of a garage to work in! What color was his car originally? Also what was the reason for not wrapping the handles?
Thanks for posting that up, I'd like to see more!

His car was originally red. His paint was in really bad shape before and it was cheaper to wrap it and he had the handles wrapped black. Ill throw in some more pictures

this was his car before he had it wrapped. He swapped out his old beat front bumper for a 2011

Oh I see... Well it really looks nice! although I think the Red was equally as nice but change is good. What type of vinyl did he choose to wrap with?

Well when i first brought her home it was in the fall last year. So i knew before the snow and salt came i wanted to seal her up and protect her for the bad months... so I went ahead and clayed, polished, + 2 coats of wax when she was brand new. I don't drive her much (3k miles now) so the paint is still immaculate. I had two tiny rock chips that needed to be filled prior to wrapping the fender and hood. Easy fix with the touch-up paint i bought with the car incase this sort of thing had happened! Anyways before i started wrapping, I washed the whole car down with dawn dish soap to get rid of every last thing on the paint. Then put her in the garage and got to clay bar'ing before the final IPA wipedown. After that started wrapping! Piece of cheese!

Thanks man I appreciate it! As does yours! I saw a thread awhile back where some guy wrapped his hawkeye matte blue... Looks sooo good! I can only imagine what it would look like in person! I wanted to do something other than white so bad but with having SWP underneath i couldn't see it any other way for the time being lol. I considered matte blue, orange, dark gray etc etc the list goes on! Too many options when it comes to wrapping, I'll most likely keep it white until this time next year and do another color just to switch it up. Thanks for posting your pics though I love seeing what others have chosen to do to their cars!
One more thing... What type of vinyl did you go with and why? Thanks!

Doors complete:
