Does anyone have an a/c belt tensioner for sale or for a free hug? I snapped the plastic that holds the adjustment rod to the pulley.

enough, not sure exact number but I'm guestimating somewhere in the 135Gb range.

funny thing is that it will likely upload to the new server in a hour tops.

Help...So I was driving into work yesterday morning while sitting at a light my battery and E-brake light come on. I pull into a parking to notice i have no power steering. I pop the hood and see the belt has snapped. I had to be in so I went ahead and fought the car to work. After work I ended up getting it towed to Perry Subaru cause I knew they had the belt in already and didnt have time to mess with it.
So after it was at Perry's for a few hours I receive a call from them telling me when the belt snapped it threw the timing off and my engine is toasted. Now I've got only a few weeks till I leave the country again but I'd like to have my car back on the road before I return.
I need some suggestions on who and where to go that I can get for quality work. Also in market for a new engine (surprise), ideally I'd stay with 2.0 but for the right price this could be chance to upgrade.

Power steering belt snapping caused the motor to jump timing? I call epic BS.

For this to even happen the entire rotating assembly would have to be stopped for even a millisecond by a 1/2" thick belt.

I agree however,I haven't had a chance to see/ hear the car for my self. Regardless, of what threw the timing off, I'm supposedly in the market for a new engine and looking.

Hopefully somebosy good at electrical can help me out here....

Headlights only turn on randumly(more not on then on)... I can hear the relay inside the car click each time I flip the switch, there is power all the way to the relay in the underhood fuse box. No power at the fuses....

I can giggled the headlight switch/turn signal switch and it has enough play in it to make the relays click while still in the "on" position but it doesnt make the lights turn on

Any advice?

I believe it to be a ground problem as it is a ground switch but I have no diagram so dont know where to start.

Ive checked everything I can with the multimeter but it doesnt do me any good when I dont know where the wire goes or comes from.

PLEASE HELP!!! haha

Trying to find a turn-signal/headlight switch stalk locally right now as it i a quick swap jsut to see if thats the issue...

Also if you have access to wiring diagrams let me know as I will be needing 1 and will compensate via beer/food

Maybe the ballasts are on their way out. It is odd for both to go at the same time, but stranger things have happened.

You still have daytime running lights?? I had the same issue, both wouldn't work or one would and the other wouldn't. I unhooked the drl and have never had another problem.

Waiting on SharpHID to tell me what the #'s should be when checking the ballast...

DRL's are unhooked and they worked fine and just started having this problem... I did notice that sometime's when turning the lights would flicker after the turnsignal kicked.

Where did you unhook the DRL's from? Under the hood, or behind the glove box?
