Smart phones are so 2000s. You work at the shipyard, therefore you need a hand brick that attaches to a larger battery brick that has absolutely no connection to the internet and no possible way of taking pictures.

If the Iphone had something revolutinary this time...MAYBE. Galaxy S3 is where it's at. No wonder Apple sued.

If it is "where it's at" why does like 3 out of 5 people have an iPhone?

The iPhone isn't going to have anything spectacular. If its ain't broke don't
Fix it but improvements are allowable. That being said, the only impressive changes are 4GLTE, thinner (big whoop), and a larger screen (whoopdido a whole .5" larger) Now, I've been debating a Galaxy SIII vs another iPhone. I like the phone except for the fact it's halfway between my iPhone and my iPad in the size category. It's obscenely large. I'm about 50/50 with it vs the iPhone 5. Odds are I'm getting an iPhone 5 vecause out of the last 6 smartphones that I've owned (and I have a mean phone habit) two have been iPhones, 4 have been droids, the iPhones I hade about a year+ on average and the droids I went through like razor blades.

I like the features of the basic android OS. The last time it was good, though, was with te droid 1 when the providers hadn't loaded them down with their own crap software that I don't need or want and no I'm not rooting a phone under warranty specially when all I want is already available on the OEM OS. Had the manufacturers and providers not trashed the phones up with their idea of what the user wants, I'd probably still have the Thunderbolt. I don't want new and innovative in a market where new and innovative is nothing more than voice activation or an LED screen. I just want reliable.

iPhone it'll probably be.

As an I phone 4 owner I can honestly say I'd rather have a Galaxy S3 than an iPhone 5

It's because of the size isn't it?

It's okay. You can admit it. I like the bigger size of the phone too. That and the OLED (or However the hell you spell/acronym it)

No they had me at 30 round photo burst, and text while watching video... but there are a lot more reasons than that. stream music wirelessly to auto head unit via bluetooth is a doozy no more retarded cables lying around in the car.

Josh (Floppynoodle) can stream his music from his iPhone 4S to his Kenwood head unit via Bluetooth and it drives me nuts that I can't on my pioneer. Meh. I thought the head unit made the difference. Erwerr

Cnet did a review on the iPhone 5 http://m.cnet.com/reviews/apple-iphone-5/35022502

I just think its weird that the iPhone 5 got longer but not wider. I would have to see it in person because it just seems weird to me. I don't have an upgrade until late next year anyway, so there will probably be another one by then I'll stick with my iPhone 4 for now

Toyota Entune.....

nuff said (though they support more for the iOS than say an Android), but they have a new upgrade coming my way, so time will tell

I don't get into the whole phone debate. People like different things, and that's cool. But hating on a brand(Apple OR Android) is just fanboism at it's best.

I type this on my MacBook Pro while sitting next to my iPhone 4, which are both connected to my Apple Time Capsule 2TB router which is streaming media files to my Apple TV.

lol....how is that Apple tv? We were thinking about it when we got our iPad but decided to wait.

I don't really care about the phone debate.....only thing that annoys me is the people that talk **** and never owned one. Buy one, use it for a good amount of time, don't like it? Cool. I have owned both Android and iOS and I personally prefer my iPhone.....even though I am still Rockne the 3GS my husband and I joke on each other all the time....he has an HYC Inspire

My vast collection of movies and TV shows on my harddrive make the AppleTV worth it.
I don't have cable TV so it's all I use. I don't use Netflix or any other pay to stream sites. I normally use tv-links.eu, I'm not sure of the legality of the site but I can stream it onto my TV and it's free..so I'm ok with that.
