its been a while since i started a thread on PPB section, i figured i shared this here too

my bad no numbers to brag about,

just some shake down dyno pulls to test out the new Nitrous kit, maxing out my current fuel system, and pulled 10 degree of timing from NA tune

currently preparing for 175-200shot ( the kit is good for 300 shot)

lil baby nitrous purge at 1:19 mark

a lil bit of mini tubbed on the car

and the result, it dead hooks on 2nd gear at 25-26psi tire pressure with no burn out on N/A power

with 345/30/18 BFG Drag Radials

Welcome Back!! Nice to see your back in the game with a new toy. A Subaru is always going to be my pick but its nice to step away for a minute and play with something different.

This car should be a beast at the track bro. Any plans for another suby? I'm loving my GT-R but after I front the wedding bill Im buying another STi. Just feels really weird not owning one currently.

when it happened for the first time banging the gear at over 100mph, i pulled over and i had to calm my self down, i was so nervous my hands were shaking, i actually went haftway out of my lane, no more banging gears hard for this car till i solve the traction issue

im glad also, its been such a long time, i have owned nothing but Subarus since i had my driver license back in 2004 and v6 mustang too haha

i always love american v8s, and beating them on their own game was also fun, but i knew someday i was going to own one, now i have new project as a result, ill have another subaru someday, RWD is fun scaring people and stuff, but when it comes to serious mode, its kinda pain in the ass,

hopefully soon, still trying to dial in the power. then gonna work on trying to get it on the ground, first time out to the track in many years on a completely different drivetrain on street tires i ran 16-15s second passes

Ed has been doing alot of different cars lately, we gonna try to dominate the LSx crowd in our area

congrats btw on the wedding, and owning a badass GTR

I'll bring the subie too once I finish tuning it with the next turbo upgrade, last one blew on me so going smaller and cheaper this time around.

but they say T-Rex, MS4, and G5x4 are the absolute biggest cams possible for the stock LS1/LS6 5.7 (346ci)

and my cam is quite bigger than all 3, to give you a hint, MS4 is only 239/242 duration,

im on the 250s range

yea low end does suffer much like a laggy turbo, but then again who really starts a race at 3500rpm or lower if your redline is at +6500rpm

as for idle wise it didnt change at all, but its in the process for fine tuning everything soon, so who knows the sound might change

but we did try to raised the idle to 1000rpm its alot less lopey, but its alot louder and completely different sound extremely fast lope, so ill keep at 850rpm on idle and more lope sound, like an African drums beats hahahahaha

i lost alot of low rpm power/torque and response, but gained alot after 4k RPM and smacks you to the seat. which i wanted,

then again im spraying nitrous too so low end torque/power response is just one arm button away

and top end cam really loves nitrous

its all in the combo really

Luckily 2scoop has been up and running and gone through several turbo upgrades since we last seen each other Carmi.

I'm guessing over 30 turbo upgrades now, 10 blown motors, 2 blown sti transmission, and 10 broken rear axles, but she's still purring like a cat.

Maybe time to pick up a GTR like Sti Mikey and retire her. Earl aka "The Machine" is still out there breaking records as usual.

Reminds me of my cammed/sprayed GTS. Ran a 300 shot on that when it was on motor. Nitrous is so much fun
