I am really anxious to try the Autoscrub pad. It's been receiving such glowing reviews (similar to when HD Uno hit the scene ) but it seems like it would be rather unruly to actually use. Only way to get a solid feel for something is to try it out I guess!

Phil, what are your experiences with using it? Any tricks with it?

I have been using this thread as a source for the right tools to use for my black subaru. I want to learn first, then move onto proper prep and a light polish and wax on my car rather then paying someone to do it. I am wondering, as I want to do one polishing step, if the Meg's D300 is to aggressive to be use with out a final polish and I should just go with something like Menzerna SF4000 - Or if there is something completely different I should consider? I was origonally planning on sticking to doing my car by hand but the more reading I do the more I think I may just jump into getting a machine. My paint is in better shape then the Audi above, which looks AMAZING!

Thanks

that's great these threads are for you to see what we do at the shop.

if you need something more aggressive you can do

Meg's M105 and the Surbuf Pad.

Phil
