Default BRZs are starting to be delivered.

Carter in Shoreline WA just got their first shipment of 4, (2 are unclaimed, if you want one go call Joe at Carter, the guy that runs the cars101.com site) and a guy that had a pre-order at Carter Ballard just went and signed papers and gets his later today. 5 confirmed cars delivered to dealers so far. I'm hoping mine is on its way too, but we'll see. My ETA was adjusted out again til the 18th, but I have no faith in that number, seeing all the other western washington cars starting to be delivered today.

Bring on the BRZ-spec overpriced junk!

This is a bit of an inside joke, folks. Tom makes awesome, well-valued, aftermarket parts for Subarus.

No steering wheel controls, confirmed. If you want one RIGHT NOW, there are a few for sale where the pre-orders have backed out. A black auto at Carter Shoreline, and a few at the Puyallup dealer- one manual in black one auto in white.

PS. hoping to have kartboy products on my car as soon as they are available, too. Let me know if you need any "testing" done.

Jeff @ Perrin went to go pick his up. Man... it's hard waiting. I wonder why some get theirs before others. no rhyme or reason to Subaru's order process.... argh.

I thought there WAS rhyme and reason, at least for the BRZ? First ordered, first served, right? Or no? Sorry, I haven't kept track of who's ordered first.

I think it's worse when you ARE given an expected date and it really doesn't come until that date. My 2011 WRX was almost 3 weeks earlier than expected.

We should be getting the BRZ in Alaska any time now. Apparently a couple FR-S have arrived and sold, though no pics to support it. I talked to a Scion sales guy today and was told as much. His is coming in mid to late June. Everything seems to be right on predicted-schedule.

well, all the west coast peeps are getting them several weeks before the east coast. That doesn't jive with the original messaging Subaru communicated- what you say, that there will be a certain allocation per dealership and the deliveries will be independent of eachother, delivered in the order that the orders were placed on a dealer by dealer basis. cars101.com explains it.

There are folks in the Midwest who have dates early next week, like 5/15. I don't think they are necessarily being built/delivered in the exact order people ordered them but the guys #1 on the list seem to be getting their cars.

It seems dependent on colors, transmission, etc. I know some dealers are getting cars people pre-ordered they don't want but it also seems like dealers are getting cars which weren't pre-ordered.

As for orders being filled they aren't going to ship them to the US and then make people wait to pay for them when they have already arrived at the dealer. Trains and trucks take time to get from port to the dealer, it just so happens the west coast is closer to the port...

It's not like the west coast dealerships are all getting 10 cars while the east is getting 1, they seem to be roughly allocated the way SoA stated.

So far only pre-ordered cars have been delivered. Just several orders were cancelled which caused a few to go to market, albeit briefly. Definitely options dependant, most every car off the trucks so far has been an auto. My manual arrives tomorrow, and unfortunately the service dept doesn't work Sundays, so I have to wait til Monday when they can do the PDI before I can take the car home.

Nice. I work for a Toyota dealer and we got the first FRS in Friday which was already Sold. Both of our Subaru dealers in Richmond already sold all of their BRZ's.

I'm picking my BRZ up today.

Smeerone, have the FR-Ses already been delivered to customers in your area? Most everyone reports that only the first86 have gotten FR-Ses and the regular customers haven't gotten any yet.
