I'm not sure if anyone discussed this yet, but my friend, #8 on the list, just got his VIN and hes the 3rd one to get one here in Alaska.

So, I'm making a big assumption here, but it looks like canceled orders are being reallocated to other dealerships.

The reason I assume this is his order was bare bone stock SSM BRZ, and the one hes getting has Homelink + dimming mirror, chrome fenders, and a bumper bar.

Bottom line: those closer to the end of the list may get a surprise call.

Default Chrome Gas Cap, Chrome Fender Trim, Rear Bumper Applique'

Has anyone seen the BRZ in Chrome Gas Cap $99, Chrome Fender Trim $119, Rear Bumper Applique' $91 or Rear Diffuser trim? $749 or do you have an opinion?
-
I'm thinking passing on the chrome because of the lack of any other than on the fake fender vents, but don't know what the Rear Bumper applique even is and the rear diffuser is $749!
-
My Dealer has offered everything at Cost (Thanks Gary Smith at Manchester Subie in N.H.!) so I'm looking at wheel locks $33, Auto Dim Mirror with Homelink @ $182, Interior Illumination Kit $210, Cargo Tray $46, Pin Stripe $42, Powered Sub Woofer $420 and the Rear Bumper Appliqué' $52.
-
As many of these options are port installed, my dealer's asking what I want now that Subaru of New England dealers have their first allocation information. In fact, just go to the "New Car Inventory" of any of these dealers and you'll see the "2013 Subaru" with no photo listed as "in transit".
-
You can tell which are limited and premium, auto or manual based on the model codes DZA=Premium 5-sp, DZB=Premium auto, DZE=Limited 5-sp, DZF=Limited auto.

Check out this link for complete list of all BRZ Info including Option Packages.

FYI, I was told that the illuminator kit and sub woofer aren't available yet. This photo's caption confirms that the sub isn't ready:

Default Thanks for the great BRZ Subwoofer pic!

Thanks for the great Sub-woofer PIC! Now that I see how nicely it fits into the corner of the trunk, I wonder if it's compatible with the Cargo Tray of it that will need it be cut to accommodate the sub-woofer.

Yeah you're right about the late availability as I just spoke with Gary Smith and Manchester Subaru in NH and he advised that the following Options are NOT available for port-installation due to late availability;

Interior Illumination Kit $210.00 $280.00 Sub-woofer $420.00 $499.00 Cargo Tray $46.00 $75.00 Rear bumper diffuser/underskirt $600.00 $801.00

Thanks again for the great PIC!

My local dealership just got a Limited WRB Auto in. Ironically the window sticker is calling it a premium but we all know better.

Hopefully they will be able to pull off the trade for me. Supposedly two MT models that don't have buyers in the region that are due in shortly.

Preordered beginning of February. Came in to port at Baltimore on 20 May. Off the truck at my dealer in PA on 25 May. Took delivery this morning, 26 May. Background is my old 2010 STI-SE. Foreground is my new 2013 BRZ Limited.

And yes, I'm very happy with the switch!

Wow, so glad everyone is starting to get cars now. Congrats all!

I have the brand new Nameless Axleback and Downpipe on my BRZ now. Videos to come shortly!!! It sounds AMAZING. (the midpipe did not make any power, and just made it way louder and BRAPPPP sounding, so we threw the stock midpipe back on).

I actually kind of like the diffuser on the white car, I didn't like it at first. Still a little much for something with maybe not much benefit but it looks decent at least.
