Default question on EJ20G/EJ205 Throttle Body

SO the car:
EJ20G engine running APEXi PowerFC Controller (a bit less finicky i would say)

the goal:
Install EJ205 Throttle body (and modified intake manifold) sensors and IAC.

The question:
Does the APEXi read just TPS Voltage, and doesn't care about idle switch (currently a 4 wire sensor)
what's the difference in IAC's
and, theres a MAP sensor there (i think) should I run it instead of the Stock EJ20G MAP? is it possible?

thanks for any input.

This question belongs in engine management/tuning. Pretty sure this is not the forum for Apexi tuning.

NO.

Nasioc is huge. Every question you could ask has been asked 100 times already. You didn't use the search function so be grateful we even took the time to answer no.

this subforum is by far collectively the one that is populated by people that have done above and beyond 99% of the bros on nasioc.

we don't spoon fed, nor do we expect it.

We answered your question. We don't care if you don't understand why.

I am assuming we are talking about USDM WRX EJ205 here, and say we you were going to swap intake manifolds
the intake, wiring, sensors, etc, are all totally different. allow me to count the ways.
IACV is TOTALLY different, mounted in a different place, with different mechanisms. also it will get in the way of the TMIC probably.
EJ20G does not have a MAP in the same sense as a EJ205.
EJ205 throttle is mounted/oriented the opposite way as the EJ20G.
EJ205 has TGVS, EJ20G does not.
EJ205 has straight entry turbo inlet, EJ20G is angled (top entry)
wiring routes differently for both.
also, the EJ205 intake manifold will NOT physically bolt to EJ20G heads. (phase 1 DOHC vs phase 2)

so, do you need more reasons?

having said all that, in the case of just wanting to switch to an EJ205 throttle body, which I cant imagine why you would want to... the answer is no, you cant practically.
if you simply need an EJ20G throttle body and are having trouble finding one, i have one for sale

I've thought about figuring out a way to modulate the idle switch in the tps, instead of using the integrated one.

I always have a pita adjusting the tps.
