probably could use 255/35's but that'll be fore a later time. if i even go that route. seeing the car in person you'ld be able to see the set up better. ask anyone who has seen her. the pictures don't do her justice

Wonder if Jason "The Dent Dude" can do fender rolling? He has done PDR on a few of my cars and did great work.

From what I have been told by a few people with 3Gs is you dont have to start rolling fenders until you do a significant drop while running 255s.
The guys at Mach V motorsports have 17X9 Mach V awesomes on a 2008+ STI with 255/40/17s with no roll done to the fenders and it just fits with a slight amount of negative camber which would be great for autoX or any other use. I am thinking a 1 inch drop with that set up using Hankook RS3s after doing a bit of researching. If it does come down to it Ill take my car to a professional to get a roll done if needed. You have to take wheel offset into account when selecting tires and wheels too. 3g's can usually fit a substantially wider wheel and tire combo vs the older models due to changes in the fender design and suspension.
Almost 90% of the time Subaru paint WILL chip, it's all cause of the paint sadly and cannot be avoided. |

lrn2corner guys are fitting 275's under 3g's with minor work to the rear only. like bigsexy said all depends on the offset though. that's fine if you want to go to a professional. this thread is just to show a bit of my work....
not dent dude's work not a professional's work ...my work |

Needing to get mine done too on the bugeye wagon may even need a pull. I got some 17x9 +35s coming. Do you have any experience pulling fenders? Prob wouldnt need a huge pull.

yeah i can do that. i'll get some better shots of my fenders tomorrow so you can see the pull. just as an idea from the pics above i'm running 18x10 +30 with a 245/40 and have tons of space to go lower
