Default My New 05 WRX

I'm turning 16 in a few weeks and went and picked up a 2005 WRX yesterday. It's in pretty good shape with some dings on the left rear quarter panel. It has some mods and was dynoed at 289 hp. It's a stock 5 speed. I just some stuff for the stereo and plan to get it installed in the next few weeks. IT's really fun to drive and I'm enjoying it so far. Here are the mods:

Blouch 16g Turbo tuned @ 19 psi
K&N Typhoon Intake
Deatschwerks 650cc fuel injectors
TurboXS UTEC
Ported and Polished Intake and Exhaust Manifolds
TGV Deletes
Invidia UpPipe
Catless Downpipe
Grimmspeed crosspipe
AMS Catback Exhaust
Godspeed Intercooler
BC Coilovers
ROTA Grid 17x7.5" Wheels with New Michelin Pilot Sport Tires
Forge Motorsports Bypass Valve
Kartboy Short shifter
Glowshift Boost Gauge
Tuned @ TopSpeed Motorsports in Alpharetta, GA

And yes I got a cap for the windshield washer fluid tank...

Yeah I really like it. I've already put over 100 miles on it just driving it on all the back roads around my house.

Getting the stereo pieced together. Ordering the head unit and insulation this week. I'm thinking 2 10's will be more than sufficient for subs, but I have a 3rd one as a back up. I'll be making a bracket that bolts to the frame behind the back seat. I'll have the 2 subs blowing straight into the back seat and the amp mounted in the middle. The amp is a 500 watt alpine. I'll be running 160 watts of really clean power to each JL sub in mono and 75 clean watts to two ADS speakers facing up behind the back seats. I'm ordering a kenwood ddx319 head unit. I'll be running 22 watts of clean power to the 4 door speakers. I'll leave the front speakers alone because they already have tweeters mounted up high in the door. I'll be replacing the rear door speakers. I'm just going to insulate the bottom and sides of the trunk for now. I might insulate the doors later. My dad will be doing a lot of the work. He is much more knowledgeable on stereo stuff than I am. We probably wont be installing everything for a few more weeks until I get out of school. The beginning of the parts collection...

Congrats on the car man I just can't believe you have a wrx and your only 15 you got some nice parents! Just my opinion but I think the car would look better wingless. For me the subbies need the sti wing or no wing. Man im jealous you got one of the best years!
