Default Lips for the impreza 2.0i?

Best front lips for the impreza 2.0i? I was told the ones for the new 2015 WRX could fit, is this true? Post pics! . Chargespeed looks good but I assume $1100 CAD is a joke and they tell you the real price at checkout...

I hear people talking about EZlip or garage door seal lip, not sure how either of those work or if you'd like them.

Not sure I love the EZlip type lips, I'd really like something rigid as I'm not lowered so it won't crack.

There's always the JDM STi lip, they make one for both before and after the mid cycle refresh. Costs about $320, but it's guaranteed to fit.

Is the JDM STI lip universal to the 2.0i years? I have a 2013 2.0i Hatch, so should I be looking for a 2013? Can you link me to the product, or give me the product number?

I got the Subaru lip from subarupartswarehouse. Way overpriced but a 20% discount code helped. It is hard plastic, so pretty rigid. I've scraped it a little and plowed snow with it and it has held pretty well.

I might have gone with the solid lip but after a couple of close encounters with parking lot curbs I'm glad I did the All-Fit lip kit. More durable than EZ-Lip as it is solid rubber and the kit comes with enough material to go all the way around (front, back & sides). Cost about $100 and simple to install, even comes with washers and screws to ensure it stays on if the adhesive ever let go.

For what it's worth I would be plenty ticked if I had the solid lip and broke it hitting a curb.

thats for an actual STi, too wide for our car. The original poster meant JDM 'STi branded' front lip

Both are for the normal impreza, not the STi WRX. STi is Subaru's performance division, not just a car. They make parts for many Subarus.

Thanks for the clarification. If only these lips were somewhat affordable!

another Japanese brand named Stage21 front lip is available here, for about $115 USD
http://aero-stage21.com/?pid=90840468

another Japanese brand S-Craft makes one as well for around $280 USD, but their website is down at the moment.

You can get Japanparts.com to add these items for you on their website to make the purchase process easier.

How reliable are these vendors? Will we ever see a 2015 front lip sold in the States?

Wow the S-craft lip looks amazing. Definitely interested. So I just shoot them an email and send them that link?

Just go on ebay and buy the $100 2015 STI replica lip. Cut 2 inches off the middle and mount. Here's mine

That honestly looks fantastic. So you have to cut the lip in half basically to take 2 inches out of the middle?

Thanks guys, no the mounting holes were different after cutting. I had to drill new ones and also used 3m double sided mounting tape. Basically cut the lip in half, and cut 1 inch off each half. Then I mounted both sides separately and epoxied the 1 inch pieces of lip to the bottom of the lip as reinforcement.
