Default Need some tuning related questions answered.

For the last few months I've been building the engine in my Sti, my current turbo is a deadbolt 20g. I have all supporting mods but the difference now is before I pulled the engine (59k on an 06, stock clutch and internals) I was running a tune for stock fuel trim. Stock injectors, stock pump. I need to break this engine in but have changed to deatschworks 850cc sidefeeds and dont have my stock injectors anymore. My tune is fine for the old setup but I know it's not good to put anything on these cars without a tune. Don't want a chance of to lean/rich. My car is currently open sourced, can I just buy a tactrix cable and adjust this myself through rom raider? I'm stumped and don't want to kill an engine that just cost me thousands.

you dont need a tactrix. a vag-com will work fine for you.

Vag-com? Care to elaborate, I've never heard of this or am unfamiliar with this method.

If you don't know what you are doing just buying a cable isn't going to help you. I suggest purchasing a tune.

I know that but Cobb won't touch the car untill the engine has 500 miles on it. Should I tow it there and have them adjust it/ base tune it and then return for full blown tune?
