You indicate that the cams are the newest version from Subaru ... do you know what if any changes were made from the OE back in 04??

Loving the SRR

Shouldn't a 2.5 be spooling that 16g much faster? Even with AVCS off?

Sorry its not the cams its the heads that have had revision due to the common cracking that happens between the valve seats and the spark plug hole. To my knowledge more material was added to help beef up and eliviate the cracking issue. A lot of people still run there cracked heads with good success.

As to the spool...yes I agree. The turbo was used and had new seals but it seamed to be tight and it appeared to have billet wheel. But its defiantly FP but its still kind of a mystery one. Perhaps once the tranny dies and is replaced it will be welcomed with a large turbo upgrade 20g +. Probably not for a while.
Also its internally gated still which doesn't explain it all, but some

Sorry didn't see the response till now.

This was my Girl Friends Car at the time. We are no longer together
however, from what I know she is still using the car as her daily driver, and I'm figuring she has 15,000+ miles on this set up (new motor and turbo stuff)

it was really fun to do pulls on the on ramp, it would just go and go.

any other q's lmk.
