Looks like you clipped the left rear on a pole? That's gotta suck.

I never understood spending thousands of dollars on a car to just take it somewhere where you put it at high risk for getting damaged.

To each his own, I guess.

Well, some people shell out the money to buy a car that can do stuff like this.

You've got a MUCH HIGHER risk for damage on the average American street than in that grass field. Why do you think that you're insurance premiums are so darned high?!?

Woohoo!

The only problem I see is that you did not get it nearly dirty enough.

You are supposed to wait until it is *raining* before driving in dirt lots!

Awesome!

You ought to pose with your car one of these times.

These cars are soooo much fun in the dirt. I got treated to a ride in the dirt... in a WRX... a dealer WRX... at the dealership... story here ->http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/Forum14/HTML/000717.html.

On a related note, if you are looking at buying the demo car from Mastro, make sure the roof wasn't dented by my head.

Will I repeat?.. hell yeah!!. I've actually been practising on a vacant field near my house for the next one. It's a very different car to drive in the dirt. I'm still trying to master the "quick handbrake turn then on the gas" move.

There was no damage, other than a few minor scratches when I hit some flags (removed by a light rubbing compound). That was a reflection of another car on the flares.

Hopefully the next one will be on a damp field. In the morning this field was damp, but the intense Aussie sun took care of that in about an hour..

My WRX cost me $46K (and change) AUD. That's with everything, including floor mats.
