Default Bkr6eix?

Are these spark plugs a suitable direct replacement for a stock WRX? Do they come gapped to OE spec (0.33)? Any better than the stock platinums?

If you are running stock boost, the Bkr6eix is fine...if you are running higher boost get the Bkr7eix.
The gap is listed at 0.7-0.8mm(.028-.031in.) in the manual.
I gapped my IK-22's at .029in. and have good results.

Don't get the -11 plugs.

I am shopping around also and have found that the NGK site lists the BKR6EIX (stock #6418) as the replacement iridum plug for the 2.0L WRX. However, most on-line retailers are selling the ngk BKR6EIX-11 (stock #3764). Whats the difference? Is anyone selling the 6418's

The notation -11 means an extended ground strap. They come gapped at about .044 and it's difficult to gap them down to what we need. The ones without the -11 come gapped very close to what we need.

-11 means 1.1mm
IK-20 is the stock heat range but wrong gapping 1.1mm
IK-22 , one range colder but right gapping 0.9mm
I would get the IK-22 without re-gapping since gapping a Iridium plug is not a good idea , it may damage the brittle iridium electrode. Don't know about the true advantage of 0.7-0.8mm gapping !?
High boost mod should use IK-24, also comes with 0.9mm

Default Ngk Wrx 2.0l Spark Plug Gap

WRX*SPARK PLUG GAP

My Comment: What should the Gap be?
I read .033 for the 02" WRX 2.0L EJ205
WRX TURBO SPORT WAGON, is this correct?
02' WRX SPARK PLUG*GAP NGK
My data shows stock gap is 0.030"*
