Back in September, just before the Paris Motor Show kicked off, General Motors came out with an announcement saying that over the next 12 months, its Buick brand is set to receive five new or refreshed models.
Among the cars including in the list were the Enclave and Encore crossovers, and the 250hp Verano Turbo that we've already seen, and the Regal and LaCrosse sedans.

We still have to wait and see what Buick has in store for the Regal, but as far as the LaCrosse is concerned, these spy shots of a camouflage-free prototype found in China, pretty much tell us the cosmetic story.

While the car seen here is the Chinese market version, since there are no notable styling differences with the current, North American 2013 LaCrosse, we see no reason why GM will change strategy with the facelifted model.

The cosmetic updates include a new front end that sports larger headlamps and a bigger waterfall-style grille that hugs the hood and the revamped bumper that features a chrome strip on the bottom end.

At the back, the LaCrosse gains a…unibrow chrome bar connecting the tailamps and a re-sculptured bonnet lip, together with a new rear bumper with different exhaust pipes.

Inside, the scoop shots reveal a newly designed center console with what appears to be a touch-screen infotainment system that reduces the button clutter of the current model, along with new side air vents.

According to Buick, the 2014MY LaCrosse will be unveiled sometime next year.

I like it. Less like a Camry/Corolla lovechild.
