Hey guys, I picked up my 2016 WRX Premium about 3 weeks ago.

I started modding quickly... the bug never fails to get me!

Here's my story so far....

Picked up the car on 7/14/15

As part of my haggle to buy the car, I got the dealership to install custom leather seats. I only had to pay $600 out of pocket, the dealer covered the rest. Was about a $1350 job with the red stitching.

After a couple days, I ordered a BaysonR front lip... such a better deal than the OEM.

After that, I found a guy parting out his '15 WRX because he had to sell it. Was able to get a Perrin Catback, Invidia Catless DP, Cobb AP, and RallyArmor Mudflaps all for $900
I installed everything but the downpipe, waiting for some more miles before I go Stage2.

Then, I got my headlights done! Painted the housing and reflectors black, installed 5500K HIDs, and switchback LED strips in the C-lights. They came out great!

Quick crappy vid... does them no justice!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Ud5Fu0g15M

Put some overlays on the tails

Then got my windows tinted. 20% all around

Installed some Hella Sharptones!

What's next?!
Installing Invidia Catless DP and going Stage2
Enkei Raijin - Black 18x8.5 +35 ***ORDERED*** with Red Lugs
RCE Yellows
JDM Grille
Emblem Overlays
LED high-beam bulbs
LED reverse lights
LED bulbs to replace all interior lights
Mod to make taillight turn signals the c-lights

Those headlights look awesome! They look OEM if not better.

Thanks! Honestly in person they look a lot better than the OEM. C-lights are much brighter and the integrated turn signals are awesome.

Plus, I only paid $300 for parts and install xD

The car looks great! Do you have the details on the parts for your headlights? How they were done?

Nice, I went with RPF1's instead but the Raijins look great too. Did you sell your rims through here or local? I can't decide whether to sell mine or not.

Thanks! Posted the LED strips above, also put in a HID kit from TRS, and painted the housing black.

I sold the rims locally. Some guy on a business trip happened to be staying like 10 mins away from me, so he came and checked them out in a rental car and bought them! Have to ship em back to MA though.
RPF1s are nice as well. Raijins just couldn't say no to the deal I got.

I SOOO wish those switchbacks were out when I did a similar "c-light" mod using the rigid XB.LED strips! Would you say they're bright enough for DRLs?

Absolutely, I use them as my DRLs. I disconnected the stock corner DRLs. They're much brighter than the stock C-lights on the wrx limited and STi. Can see then really well during the day, and at night they stand out even more than the HIDs. I'll try to take a better pic

Man.. I run mine as DRLs too. I think I might just have to order some and bake my headlights again lol. How about the color? Looks freakin perfect in the pics you posted, my XB.LED strips were the first gen with the white phosphor coating and they leave much to be desired (aside from brightness). They have what I can only describe as a dingy whitish yellow/green tinge.. compared to the pure white of my xb35 5500K HIDs they don't match at all.

They match my HIDs perfectly. Pure white with a hint of blue. Still breaking my HIDs in though since I've only run my headlights for like 2-3 hours with them in, so the HIDs are actually more yellow than the C's right now. After they warm up for a while they match though

Fantastic wheels! I love the headlights as well. One question: did you decide to go stage 2 before or after the manufacturer recommended break in period?

I went stage1 at around 1k miles. Stage 2 happened around 2200 miles if I recall correctly.
