Too much to sort through in a phone with quoting but Tay going from 18 to 17 will lower it a half inch not a whole you'd lose a half inch of tuck. Its radius change remember lol

I'm a fan of the style of lowered subaru's; doesn't bother me at all. I was trying to compare like the old sc300's that are like 2-4k to a 10k wrx. You put a lot of time and effort to get your car how it looks, and I respect that.

I aplogize for the way that came out. I shouldn't have said the staple gun thing because that makes it sound like it looks like a p.o.s. which it doesn't..

I'm sorry for the way I said things. It's a nice car, just i'd be skeptical to do it with how much risk you can take just driving it around.

I'm not mad at all lol.. was just making a point of how much the rivets stand out to me.

the setup on the car looks great, was just thinking through what could happen if you hit one to many potholes or something. ( some you can't avoid in DC trust me... )

Props for the only real damage being to the bottom of the car. I'm suprised you haven't gone through a few lips / bumpers while having it as a dd.

Again, it's the internet and some things when said don't come out the way your trying to say it.
It's all good player. I didn't mean to come off in a defensive way. I was just responding to the comments you had made. I'm not mad or anything nor did I assume you were. I do appreciate you taking the time to clear up what you had said. And I had gone through a couple lips. Lol. I just recently stopped running them because they'd only last about 2-3 weeks.

17s makes the car look like its on 14s and then bubble tires to add that.

18s all day. You wont know how great they are until you run them. lol

Ive had 17s. I couldnt even drive when i was static cause the frame sat literally on the ground. Tay would be in the same position

and the on 17s, wheel looked way too small inside the wheel well. Looks retarded imo and very few can pull it off.

its all opinion.

I think 17's with a 255/40 look awesome and give the car a more aggressive look. 18s just fill out the wheel well and give the car a crappier ride. I will end up with 18s because i daily drive my STi and my commute is short. But 17's I think look better in most cases

Then why not go to one of the other 50 threads that aren't dedicated to slammed suby's? Are you trying to make a statement thinking that everyone here is going to follow your opinion?

I wouldn't personally slam my suby....i did that with my truck but i still enjoy seeing what others are doing.

If you don't like slammed suby's stay out. If you like stretched tires then don't post in the meaty tire thread etc etc. It's really pretty simple.

5/6 was the lowest suspension drop on a full size extended cab with an 8ft bed without converting to bags back in the day. Also those are 295's on a 15x7 or 8 inch wheel lol. I was tuckin meats when most of these guys were still riding the elementary bus .
