If I'm not mistaken it is like an elastic bumper clip. It allows your bumper to move if you are backing out of a steep driveway or similar things.

I made a mistake when I swapped up wheels... Now I have a renewed interest in modding my car haha.
I was perfectly content to just drive it as is for the past 2 years or so, now I can't stop shopping around haha

Whats the purpose? Quick release to take out the bumper going up on steep inclines(don't see anyone doing that really...)? Only use I can see it for is to help prevent when I back out and my front cover drags and pops out from the tabs.

Lol when the bumper tabs break off from the bumper ripping/falling off, it holds it up close.

Allowing the bumper to stay and flex.

Thats all it does.

there are several different kinds of quick releases.
drawer/box latches, spring/rivet plates with hook, password jdm, dzeus fasteners, etc

just google bumper quick release.

This.

And when I get any sort of service done on my car, particularly alignments, I need to take the bumper off so this is nice when it take 30sec

I'm about to make pull pins for the front 4 tabs I use by the headlights to save more time and then I won't need a flathead in the car

Looking forward to see the pull pins

And had a question for y'all slammed/hellaflush people.
Do y'all use the spring rates that come with the bc extremes 8/6kg? or y'all upgrade to stiffer spring rates?

I contacted bc and every 2kg you go up the car gets raised 13mm.

Some people prefer a stiffer ride. Stiffer rates depends on you and what kind of ride comfort you want.

I went with 7k front and rear thinking I would love it, but IMO I think its too soft.

On a side note: I went with this quick release because it gives movement. As well as I only had 2 zip ties and 4 top clips to hold up my bumper. Now I don't need to waste money on plastic clips and what not.

Till this day I still hate this mod. Lol, but at least it works. Just looks ugly

You could always change the release to a better looking one.
