Default White 2015 wrx front license plate holes

So I have four holes in my front bumper and am not exactly what I should do to get rid of them. I was thinking bumper plugs, but it's a new white (crystal white silica) and can't find the correct plugs on bumperplugs.com . And I have two different sized holes. Definitely don't want the front plate on because the bumper looks so much better without it. Any suggestions?

What about a Perrin license plate delete?

I put push-in rivets to the large holes - had the dealer not put the small ones in.

You can pretty much go to the closest good car shop and they should have a good selection of various plastic rivets. Yes they are in black plastic. You can do a cheap self paint or white plasti-dip job OR take it to someone to do a better pain job.

You can find the pictures on my REX with the plastic rivets in the larger holes on the 2015 DGM thread
http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=2616436

or on the 2015 mod page I started
http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=2621349

Hope this helps

Do any front license bracket relocation kits work on the 2015's yet?

I don't want the bracket to fk my bumper up when I'm forced to mount a front plate.

I don't see why the Grimmspeed kit won't work with the 2015:

Where did you get the rivets for the large holes?

I was thinking about using one of these, but I don't wanna spend 45 bucks and end up not liking it. Would love to find something just to fill in all four holes that are color matched.

Check out his Dark Gray Metallic and 2015 Mods threads.

Also for a bracket - this one works great!

(either short or medium, large is too long for 2015 WRX)

thats pretty cool. I just don't want the plate on there at all. Think the bumper looks a lot better without it. If I wanted to relocate it lower, I would still have to fill in the holes somehow..

Get some 10/32 well nuts and drill new holes in license plate to match the holes on the car. While your at it, you can shift the plate up to not block the radiator and allow more air to pass through. This setup will cost you less that 5 bucks and is super strong.

makes me wonder why the dealers don't use the existing holes on the car...seems pretty easy to me but for some reason they're compelled to drill two extra holes in the bumper. wonder if i can get my dealer to not do that...

Two holes are pre drilled that are Japan plate dimensions. There are two small indents that are for the North American plates. You could probably get them to not drill the NA Plates, but the Japan holes are done at the factory.

got it - thanks. i'll see if there is some way they can use the existing ones by drilling the license plate frame rather than the car!

Oh, it will work alright. That is if you dont mind that it sticks out like 4 inches from the bumper. Grimmspeed needs to come out with one dedicated to the 15's. They have not as yet.

That's fine for mounting a front plate, but the OP does not want to.

This is what I did. My dealer didn't drill out the two smaller holes though.

bumperplugs.com

The ones I got were too small. I wrapped them with thread tape until it fit tight. Works great. Thread tape is in the plumbing section at home depot or lowes.

Their BRZ kit fits 1/2 inch off the bumper.

You will have to get the plate adapters or drill holes. The bumper has factory jdm license plate holes. I bought the same license plate delete before finding out this information.
