Default Left sunroof open in rain

I can't believe this, we get the heaviest rain I've seen in a long time and I left my sunroof popped in the rain. The interior is soaked. Front seats, center console all the way up to the radio.

What can I do to dry it? I'm concerned about the carpet holding water.

Kicker is that I'm leaving on a business trip right after work and the car will sit until Sunday in my garage. Can I do anything fast tonight before I leave? I will leave all of the windows and sunroof open in the garage while I'm gone.

Edit- I just dried everything I could in the console, around the buttons and leather with a microfiber. But I don't have anything else with me at work.

Can you get your hands on a wet/dry vac or a carpet shampooer with hand attachment?

You can use either to suck off (lol) the water from the carpet...you can even get handheld style carpet shampooers from wal-mart for like $50 to $150.

Leaving it in the garage with everything open should allow it to dry out...maybe add a fan or dehumidifier to the equation as well as something to eliminate mildew from growing like lysol (not sure if lysol is ok for automotive carpet / upholstery but I think it should be fine).

Pull the back seats out for sure

Wet vac the interior as best you can

If you feel safe with it get a small electric space heater and put it inside the car ( where the back seat was ) for a few nights. Crack one of the windows like 1/4" and cook the rest of the water out. The heater should have a temp shut off to keep it from over heating so it will not get more then 120ish in there. Thats well lower then it sitting out int he sun on a hot day. If your not comfortable with the heater then put a box fan in the car on high with the windows all down when you get home each day and the entire weekend while your gone.

What ever you do, DO NOT leave the windows up all the way unless its raining right then and there.
