Catastrophic valve failure at work. Look close. The head is actually broke in between the exhaust valves. Flooded the cylinder. I'm sure there is a broken rod.

*no this isn't a V6, and there is more displacement in these three cylinders than most V8s

I too, hate this. I once had borrowed a friends 5.0 back when I was a teenager and cell phones were only for the rich and famous. I got to the gas station and couldn't find the gas door release. I spent 10 minutes looking all over for it and finally someone walking by said 'its in the glovebox'. I had only really delt with toyotas and hondas at that point since that is what everyone in my family drove and those were always somewhere not so sneaky. And those pesky mr2s are always making me wonder... 'open the hood' - 'which one? which lever?'

I've got some corrosion going on on my battery. I have to clean the damn terminals every month or so. I have had it so bad that my car won't start and I have to take them off and clean them to get it running. I've even replaced the terminal clamps and the corrosion just keeps coming back. I'm going to replace the battery soon. Should I just go ahead and get new cables and terminals clamps (again)? I would think that would finally stop it.

Replace the battery, cables, and buy a corrosion inhibitor spray.

It's usually a purple looking stuff. We spray it on every battery we install

It's a tire pimple

I've only seen that once before, happens when you hit the sidewall just right. Pretty crazy right?

I've seen plenty of those, the roads here in Northern VA are terrible.

I've seen a tire with 10 golf ball sized tire titties, but never one the size of a grapefruit like that one.

Probably because by this time the tire has already blown out.
