My whole street is knee deep right now. Several cars have tried to get through it... few have succeeded.

Not sure if you realized it or not, but your "Floriduh" profile reminds me of WJM's old profile (before he trashed it and deleted all his posts).

Karl looking at the map for the last 30 days it seems that the areas with the most rain are also good contributors to our aquifer, whle some of the rains have been hard and lost to runoff, the majority locally here have benn long and steady. Will these 2 tropical systems be ebough to bring us back from the low levels we were experiencing? And due to the over 20" of rain in the last 30 days locally hopefully someone is thinking about the mosquito explosion we are having. I had one land on me that was huge! I smacked him hard, he fell to the ground got up dusted himself off, shot me a bird and flew away

I just saw a thing on local news here in texas....Karnes county...where there is a LOT of oil/energy activity is VERY short of people to workin every area from delivering pizzas to prison guards the state DOC is offering a $3k sign on bonus for prison guards.

LOTS and LOTS of work here and a LOT of it $$$$$

come and get it

if you drew lines between san antonio and houston and corpus christi.......it would be in that triangle where much of the current 'boom' activity is

I am currently within 60 miles of downtown san antonio and 175 miles from downton houston and corpus is about 130 miles.....kenedy tx(karnes county) is the epicenter of the 'Eagle Ford' shale area that is being drilled with such epic abandon at the moment

quite shocking all the activity in this area......trucks and support vehicles EVERYWHERE on the road......traffic jams at intersections out in the middle of nowhere...and i DO MEAN the middle of NOWHERE

perfect suby environment....the oilfield rednecks even know what they are, most of them, anyway

if anybody has specific questions....pm me or whatever....work EVERYWHERE out here....i paid $3.22.9 for good 93 the other day
