Kartboy's BRZ build thread.

Picked it up last night from Frank Subaru in National City.
Went directly to my tint shop this morning with 35% all around along with a tint strip up top.

Confirmed parts so far. 6spd knob. Oil cap, Battery Tie Down. Going on the lift tomorrow to install rear endlinks along with our carrier bushings.

We have some pretty slick ideas in the works. Sadly i'm not going to tell you everything just yet. Were doing it the right way this time with some patents. We now have a good patent lawyer working for the company. That'll keep Gimmicktorquepower away for a little while.

I loved the white delrin Kartboy knob in my WRX. Never hot or cold and the knuckleball perfect fit.

Prototype shifter built and installed today. Let me drive it around for a few days to see how it is in real world driving. So far on the way home from the shop it was

Sorry no pix on this one just yet. I'll try and measure from gate to gate tomorrow.

Is the stock shifter not tight enough or what? I liked it, but my test-drive was only a few minutes.

I'm fine with the length of the throw but I'd like the height of the shifter to be reduced

I might concur with that with more time behind the wheel.

I'd want a heavier clutch, only slightly, though.

Very much so. Its not OMGWTFBBQ fast but its very rewarding to drive. well planted.

I have an E36 M3 with some nice mods, so I'm not running towards one of these yet... but definitely will be on my radar as it seems like my kind of car. A real driver's car...
