You can't. Seriously. There is nothing left in the 2.2. Enjoy it for what it is... A damn reliable motor that will run 200k++ if taken care of.

I told you before: suspension.

A turbo motor swap is the only way to bring power to that car.

It not that easy. A swap requires a lot of wiring and tuning and associated parts. A safe estimate for a WRX motor and the other needed parts is in the $4000-5000 range. Without labor. And that on the cheap side. Selling the car and buying a WRX is more cost effective.

As I said, enjoy the car for what it does best:handling and reliability. It's the wrong car for power. Trust.

You can't do much unfortunately without making the swap to a turbo motor.

Don't drive people nuts with queations. Lol . You may get one or two horsepower from a few mods that you mentioned. Take everyones advice. Do suspension. I have a 2.2 legacy and all I am doing is a k&n panel filter and a full exhaust. I have done a few suspension parts and it makes the car even more fun. Its not a fast car. Its a handling car.

The Bugeyes in rough shape are getting as cheap as $6000. Later years go up from there.
