The original idea was to have a meet near Laurel, Beltsville, Silver Spring and Waldorf area for those of us who live close.
I tried to organize it a couple of times but as always people has stuff to do.
I wanted to meet this last Saturday and not a single response so I was about to give up on it.
How about if we do this this Saturday around 5pm, Best Buy parking lot in Laurel. Then if we decide to go somewhere else we could all agree and take off.
Any takers?

I would think people would be more busy Saturdays than any other week day. I think you should do like the ho co meets. Every other week on a week night around 6-7pm and on a specific day. When it's every other week at a set time people can plan accordingly if they really care to go to the meet that is. I dunno just my 2 cents.

Sounds good to me and I appreciate your input.
I'm available on any given weekend or any given day of the week. I know most of us have different schedules but if I could get at least 6 or 7 guys to show up, take pics and posting them maybe these will motivate others to try to make it to the next meet.

Well I guess we could try and do some voting. What day works best for majority and most of all we should all agree on a particular location. Then after some steady meets we could change it up some.

This sounds awsome to have a meet in this area, I live like 10min from the best but in laurel. I would love to start going to a regular subie meet. As for myself, my best weeknight would be Tuesdays. Just giving some input cause I'm totally down for a subie meet around here!

Tuesday works for me as well. As for a place I'm not 100% on a good spot but I could check out some places on may way home Thursday. Do you guys like to meet outside for a little while, then go in and eat then back outside for a while?

How about where I mentioned, the Best Buy parking lot. There are a whole bunch of places to eat basically at walking distance.

Also as far as food, there is a Chipotle there, which is always a solid choice, can't pinpoint what else is there, it's been a little while since I have been over there.

Oh that's right! I know that a little farther down there is the TGI Fridays, Olive Garden, son Pablo's, silver diner, Ledos, etc like you mentioned, I'm more in that area when I'm in laurel. But yea forgot about those other spots right in the best buy shopping center, thanks for letting us know. So a lot of spots to choose from which is good. Regardless, outside by the subies chatting will be legit!

Considering I live within 3 miles from the best buy I can't suggest a better place. Is there a decent portion of the lot that stays empty? As far as food I'm always down for chipotle. The long lines suck but always worth it in the end! Plus like you guys said there is plenty of other options.

Word that's what's up, and yea I live 10 min away from best buy it's super good spot. And you said it, Chipotle has long lines, BUT it's always worth it, and it's right there too. Between that and Don Pablo's sound excellent right now lol
