Here are some more updates.

The car in in the booth getting rest of the body paint. Since the passenger side was all new, they had to spray the original silver first before the Magno Alanite Grey so it would match the rest of the panels.

The Magno Alanite Grey going on...

If you look at the pictures, you can see how much more defined the lines of the car look with the Alanite Grey vs. the stock SSM. It looks pretty crazy in sunlight as there is a ton of color shift due to the really course flake in the paint. The body lines are going to be even more accented than stock and the paint is going to look really deep.

Very nice looking good! I am in the same line if work so I understand 100% the time involved in everything. Looks like they are doing a great job though!

Are you suited and masked, standing there with your camera the whole time they paint it?

There are rarely pictures of me floating around anyway...suited up or not. I don't like being in front of the camera.

The new color is bad ass! I'm very excited for you and hope you enjoy the car even more now. What is even better it knowing that you'll have some great pictures of the car once she is done!

You have no idea. The flake in this paint is utterly insane. It made SSM look like there was none. It is the perfect silver for matte.

Idk if I missed it or what, but I just noticed you updated your signature to reflect your tune just before the accident. Congrats on breaking 400whp.

Here is a teaser. This is really just to illustrate how much flake is in this paint. It is nuts. As the light hits it and fades off...it literally changes. So it looks like a completely different car indoors than it does out in the sun. It is one of the coolest silvers I have ever seen. I honestly don't know if I am going to be able to capture it with a camera like it looks in person.

You used Duplicolor metalcast for your tails right? Any fading occur?

It is MUCH more durable than Subaru paint and even high end gloss paints. It is almost like there is a shell around the car now.

One more teaser for the day before I do a proper shoot tomorrow.
