quick and maybe dumb question, did you raise your coils a bit with the addition of the weight in the rear?
I didn't. The spare tire and other parts of the trunk were removed so the net weight difference wasn't all that much in reality. Fiberglass is light and so are those amps. The only real weight was the top wood board and the subwoofers.

p.s. what wheels are those?
Working on that this week. As you add watts to a Subaru...it just rattles that much more!

The wheels? Baby unicorns made them with particles from outer space. I can't divulge the manufacturer.

TROLOLOLOL
The front lip came from a Tibetan monastery they only make one every 50 years. And hub to fender is 8.4937626 feet.

Jeff and I spent some quality time together with the car at Cars of Atlanta while he scoped and tuned the audio. I really like working with Jeff. Just a cool guy to hang out with and he does an incredible job on the tuning. For a guy like me that doesn't have a lot of experience in this area...that is invaluable.

The result. HOLY S%$T! That is the sound I was looking for. Simply awesome.

You can and the red matches the interior perfectly.

Default XM Tuner Location

Hey, can you tell me where you found a spot for the pioneer xm tuner? Did you mount the antenna under the dash?

It is in the trunk in the spare tire well. The XM antenna needs line of site or it won't work...so it has to go on the top of the car.

When Subaru of Canada installs the X9310BT (same as a X930BT) in the Sport-Tech STi (my car), they put the Sirius antenna in the upper right corner of the inside of the windshield and it works fine. I'm not sure where the tuner itself goes - I haven't looked for it.

That would work as well as it still has line of sight. I put it in the edge of my hatch lid when the paint had just gotten finished because I wasn't ready to put it on the top yet. It didn't work there at all even though it was close to the outside. It cut out every 5 seconds.

Hmmm. I wonder if there is a good spot under the dash. The OEM tuner mounts cleanly right above the HU, but there are pre-drilled holes for their brackets. Anyone mount under the dash, or should I just go under the driver's seat? (I have a sub under the passenger side)

Those ppi 900.4s are nuts, i got one while my sundown 100.4 was getting repaired and decided to stick with it, unbelievable output from the size of it. I also couldn't tell the difference as far as sound quality from an a/b to the full range D.

Looks so good, I'd love to see it with black pillars and a black headliner.
