The Retrofit source only sells parts. They will not do the retrofit for you so you will have to disassemble the headlights yourself.

However, they provide the complete it including the harness, projectors, ballasts, capsules and mounting brackets that are car specific. It is literally plug in play in terms of removing your old projectors and installing the new ones. No fab work is required.

Yes...HID's (properly setup ones/not eBay PNP crap) are very worth it. I have retrofitted every car that didn't come with them from the factory for years.

I have this exact same retrofit kit, and I agree, it is VERY worth it.

Love this car! I'm very impressed by all of the work and the attention to detail. Just got my JPM boots today and have been looking to do the exact same setup with the STI center conceal. The WRX should have come with it as well IMO.

I am just wondering what kind of retrofit kit did you get for your car?

That is a STI center console actually. It was easier to wrap than the WRX version so I picked up one used for cheap.

Thanks man. If you dont mind my asking, how much did all the work JPM did end up costing you? I was thinking of going a similar route with my sedan, but I'm pretty far away in NY. Did you do the headliner as well?

I haven't done the headliner yet. That is the last on the list as we are getting the seats, doorcards and steering wheel finalized this week.

I'm with you on that. I launched my other wrx at the strip a few times and while it was fun I felt bad for the car afterward.

I'm pretty much set on the Work Emotion 11R in matte black because they look great on silver. I won't be lowering the car and don't want to roll my fenders so my plan is 18x8.5 with 245/40/18's.

Also, where did you order your wheels from?

You will clear just fine at that fitment on stock suspension. I got my set from Mark at RavSpec. Great guy...tell him I sent you over!

I know your wheels and tires are a bit bigger than what I'm getting but did you notice any decrease in acceleration with them?

I really didn't. The day, conditions and other factors play a lot bigger role than just the weight of the wheels. The 11R's are not heavy for their size either so you will be fine.

I did. Ran the wire up through the factory wire channel, along the headliner, down the drivers side A pillar to the fuse box. I actually used the Valentine hardwire plus accessory box so I can hook up my remote display later if I want to.

Clean, beautiful. I am completely on board with your design philosophy and want to emulate it. Your comment about the JDM radio bezel encapsulates it. Thanks for all the hard work in posting. I can't wait to see the new seat in the car.
