Hey all, new to the NM/Albaquerque area, moved out here for my duty station. Wondered if there was a chapter near here (did a forum search turned up nothing and not familiar enough with the area to know what's close)
Owned my 2002 wrx for a while, went to a few meetings in south OC, The meetings were outside the shop I worked at, made it easy to find. Any help is highly appreciated. Also looking for a good tuner in the area I need yo get everything checked out after my drive from the coast, sea level to a mile high is setting something off.

Welcome to NM!
As I've mentioned elsewhere, we have two things going for us. Food and scenery. I suggest that you take a cruise up the Turquoise Trail when you get the chance. Stop off in Madrid and poke around for a while. Then continue up to Santa Fe and grab a bite to eat at one of the many awesome restaurants in town. Personally, I'm a huge fan of Tomasita's. Then, if the day is still young, head north out of Santa Fe to Los Alamos. There are a couple of casinos on the way if that's your thing. Once at Los Alamos, you can come back to Albuquerque through the Jemez Mountain Trail. My friends and I used to make this jaunt on our motorcycles every week in the summer. It's a beautiful ride! |
