Talking Finally Happened Today! Quarter of a Million!!

Yup, I finally hit 250,000 Miles! Quarter of a Million Miles! And I bought the car on June 9, 2001 so almost exactly 11 years ago! For once I was happy to hit a traffic light so I could take a good picture!

Some of you may have seen my other post and updates here, but I never really thought I would make it to 250k! Knock on wood car is still running strong!

Updated with new post of 260260 miles.

wow, beastly WRX =p I can't believe it's been so mechanically sound! Mine's got 125K and it's starting to seep a bit of oil from what I think is an external HG leak...>.>

Congrats. I plan on doing the same, except I have the car 9 years and only 87K, so that puts me at 250K and 26 years. So in 2029 I will bring this thread back from the dead. Maybe you will be up over 600K by then.

Update from this past weekend... Since I got the BRZ in July, the WRX doesn't see as much action anymore, but it will if we actually get some snow!

255k miles now... and AZP keeping it running strong!

Awesome - I also bought my car right around the time you bought yours.

I put 100,000 miles first 6 years, then I've been driving just 3k/year as my commute is just 3 miles one way and we have Prius for long distance trips.

mod list and mileage it was done at and any major repairs you had to make? (blown engine, tranny, etc) really interested on the longevity of the cars

I had the car set up with Utec Stage 2 for about 185k of the miles... went back to stock around 215k miles... no major repairs at all ... knock on wood... main thing that I replaced was the stock turbo somewhere around 170k .. just replaced it with another used stock turbo... no tranny issues, replaced the original clutch at 180k ... and engine still runs strong and the car even now pulls well and is much faster than my BRZ.
