turbo boosting issues please HELP!!!!

HI,AND THANX IN ADVANCE.
Hay im gonna start with the upgrades and specs right of the bat..
02 wrx 2.0 turbo stock td04
3'' downpipe and uppipe
07 trans
injen frontmount and piping
aps resurculating bov
spt coolair intake
sti catback
crawford boost controller
new platnum iridium plugs gapped at .30
new maf
was boosting 18psi now i turned it down to 14.7 the turbo is lagging{no leaks in pipes just checked good maf} when at full throttle it has been starting to lag. ive noticed as i accelarate to full rpm and the turbo is at full boost it is almost like it starts hitting a flat spot inbetween boost, it does boost just surges i did the plugs and turned the boost down and it seemed to help i thought i was blowing out the spark, well last night we had races and i bearly beat a gsr ej1 in a 1/4
(are my pugs bad i get misfire when it surges} can anyone help.

SO just to be clear you have an 2002 wrx and you are asking for help with it in the pre-2002 forum?

If this weren't the PRE-2002 forum I might ask if your getting any CEL or what a OBD2 codereader is telling you. I might also ask if you have any sort guages such as a A/F guage to tell if your running lean or a knock light to tell you if your ECU is detecting knock and retarding timing as a result.

I might also recommend seafoaming the engine via a vacuum line to get rid of hesitation from carbon or varnish buildup. However since you do have an 02 I'd mainly recommend an accessport and a proper tune as its not in your list of Mods.

Also there is better help to be had in the correct forum.
