Default Exhaust opinions

Hey guys I'm about to buy a exhaust for my 15 STI I'm pretty sold on Corsa, was wondering if anyone on here has that same set up.

Not running the same set-up, but I have a Corsa catback for my '13 Hatch. Very impressed with the build quality and packaging from the factory. Having the exhaust come in multiple pieces made installation more manageable.

The sound level is reasonable at 0-3000k, at which point it opens up to redline. No drone under normal driving conditions (key for a hatch). The sound quality is refined while still accentuating the Subaru rumble. Sounds like a sports car that would be owned by someone who has a personal accountant. Best of the Subaru exhausts I've personally heard, but not the loudest.

Again, I realize you're asking about a 15 STi but I have been pleased with my Corsa product thus far. Feels like a "grown up" exhaust. Best of luck with your purchase.

Thank you for the response they seem like they put a lot of effort in. Did you order an adaptor to attach to your down pipe or was it indented I was looking at those and extra gaskets to make sure I don't have leaks. Any advice or tips would be chill

There was no adapter needed for me to connect to the stock downpipe. I just used the gasket included in the package. However, I am not sure about the installation process for the '15 Sti so I would call Corsa to double check.

When installing on my car, I wasn't comfortable with the length of the bolts that were included that connect the downpipe to the midpipe. The included bolts sat flush, but I like to see a thread or two extra. Purchased some longer stainless steel bolts for a couple bucks from a big box store. Your call, but it made installation a bit easier.

Additionally, if you're doing the install yourself without a lift, I found that it was easier to jack the car up on the side. Midpipe installation gets a bit tight if you're raising just the rear of the vehicle.

Finally, make sure you have some silicon spray handy to get those rear hangers off. They can be a real PITA.

Let us know how it goes (and include pics/clips!).

Absolutely love the Corsa catback on the EJ series motor. I have it on my '15 WRX and it behaves the same way, very tame at idle and below 3K then it will open up. I've heard it on a 15 STI and it really turns heads because of the unique exhaust note the system makes. Also if you need a stock downpipe to 3" catback adapter I have one in my garage I'd be willing to let go of
