Default does anyone remember...

how 4 or 5 weeks ago there was a thread about how Subaru of Steven's Creek was undergoing changes to try and make themselves have better public relations or something?

yet, to this day, there still seems to be very bad publicity here among them. I'm just hoping that by the time I want a check-up or tune-up of my car, they will have better service so I don't have to drive to a farther place to get satisfactory service.

The are sucking so bad, that while realizing that they most sertainly do suck a lot, they they choose to suck even more by not trying not to suck as much at they used to suck before...

I wish they would improve too. They are the dealer that I live closest to. However, I have given up on them. After hearing promises of how they were trying to change, I went into their parts and service departments once in awhile to see if they indeed have changed. Unfortunately, nothing has changed. Service is still shotty and unfriendly. Parts prices are still some of the highest around. I am very disappointed. Do you think picketing would change their attitude?

Its all about Carlsen Subaru.

Al (a service rep) was very very helpful and very very nice. Kevin, as usual, is a great mechanic and all around good guy and likes to keep you in on the repair process.

No one bitches and moans about modifications. No one wants to screw you (even though its warranty work!). You don't get summarily dismissed because you have an exhaust or aftermarket rims. ( FYI - I'm describing Downtown Subaru of Oakland)

Maybe Carlsen doesn't have a performance department like Santa Cruz or Irvine, but for dealing with an honest, concerned service department, Carlsen is certainly worth the extra drive. Oh my God, you actually get service!
