Default Ebay 04-05 Fog Lights

So I went against conventional wisdom and decided that since the car is gonna go for sale I replace the chipped fog covers with some fog lights.
I headed over to the Chinese Flea Market (eBay) and came across some pre painted fogs for $96
I said "Fk'it" and too a chance. Yeah the halo is pretty gay, but i figured i would just leave it disconnected.
I test fitted them to my existing oe bumper as well as the new one I picked up from the dealership.
Overall I would say a solid 3 out of 10.

Lucky for me my parents neighbor has a white 2005 WRX and he was more that willing to buy them off of me even after I told him what was wrong with them.

In fact he spayed them flat black to give him the "panda look" (his words) on his GD.

Off Topic:The guy is a super subaru nerd that has every trendy DIY mod you could think of, audi mask, stickerbomb, plastidip, vinyl cf parts, JDM Bosozoku Hang Ring, garage door front lip, you get the picture

Pros
- Cheap
- Good Color Match
- Brackets bent in correct manner (this one is actually a big surprise)

Cons
- Useless light pattern that resembles Cyclops from the X-Men

- No Back Covers to protect the lights "Here was there responce"
sorry about that however we received them for our manufactures like this. we do not have any caps to seal it off.
Best Regards,
Gary Customer Service

- Fog shrouds have need some serious massaging to eliminate the huge gap on top and trust me you wont have a smile like this guy when you realize you need to massage those stupid covers!

Just for fun I contacted the other 4 ebay sellers that were selling the same style light. And when I asked if they had covers they all said the same thing, they were not included, so I figure they come from the same sweat shop in Shanghai.

If you wants a bolt in kit these are definitely not for you. But if you are looking for a challenges such as having to source vinyl caps from home depots plumbing dept, to mod as back covers for you lights, using a heat guns to shape the plastic tabs on the covers and that pain in the ass adjusting screw used that you cant adjust unless you constantly remove the light back and forth.
Then this is for you!
