Default Baked and painted impreza headlights?

I love the look of the black painted headlamps, wondering who's done it and what kind of paint you used.

Any kind of high heat paint should be fine. There are probably a billion threads about this on the internet.

The most difficult part of opening a headlight is keeping it clean and then resealing without moisture. Baking often leaves moisture inside since it permeates the entire headlight. A heat gun is the alternative, working your way around to melt/reseal the butyl.

Moisture may not be a HUGE issue if you dont have projectors because it wont drip onto the the projector lens, since you wouldnt have one...

I blacked out the housing on my stock headlights. I've got an 05 and I baked them to open them up, and for the paint I used semi-gloss black engine enamel, loved the way it turned out!
