don't buy ebay coilovers.

just go on 240 forms and ask about ebay ones lol. i'm sure you'll get the same response for WRX coilovers.

just get a decent set for around $1000 or less. it should suffice.

old review i found

I heard a local from talked to about his setup in his s14 yesterday
and had good words to say...only thing he notes is to make sure
to lock tight the strut nut, pretty much common sense with all
other setups

If you havent used 'em dont knock 'em, because you don't know **** about 'em. I'm running a set of godspeed SUBARU WRX 02-07 (04 STI) TYPE-RS COILOVER SUSPENSION. I am very pleased with the ride and adjustability of this set up. It has 16 levels of dampening I leave mine set on street mode because its a daily driver so I'm looking more for ride comfort. But even adjusted to full track setting its not to bouncy and corners like its on rails I also have it dropped about two inch's which helps to.

Do you leave them on in the winter? How have they held up in the winter and the elements?

Make sure you get the RS's not the SS's. The RS's are adjustable. And they are stiff when they're on the track setting but street mode's not bad. They're not going to ride like the stock suspension though, they are coilovers, designed to minimize body roll and improve handling.

i've picked up a good amount of bc customers that were former godspeed owners. apparently the godspeeds didn't last very long, although i wish you the best.

People are asking about these coilovers because of the price. the cheapest BC coilover you have is 1019.

Ever think there might be a reason that even the "cheap" halfway-reputable coilovers cost $1000? It's not because BC and Import Image are making $300 profit on every set sold.

Take a look at those Godspeed ones, then look at Megan Racing, KSport, and all of the other generic coilovers, and see if you can see any difference, other than the color of the powdercoating on them. It's all the same parts with a different name on them.

Actually it is different. Your blind if you can't see that. I am not here to debate which one is better but they are not the same.

The Godspeed is modeled after the Tien HA for the most part. This is also comming directly from China.

BC, Megan KS are comming from Taiwan.

Taiwan and China are not one and the same.

late poster but still, i had godspeed RS coilovers on my 04 wrx and it rode sooo stiff it actually broke my one trunk hinge... i only ran them for 200 miles and couldnt take it so i sold them and went with sti springs and struts and love the ride, but im now looking into BC's because i got gforces 18x9 +35 offset with 245/40 (used but tires are like new) so since my tires are soo big with an agressive offset my ass end used to rub, so i had to roll/pull my quarters to fit them but they still rub slghtly... i wanna go with BC's to keep the back stiff enough to not rub, and be able to drop the front a little bit and get some camber to help not rub... i just ordered rear camber bolts yesterday.... so my personal review on godspeed coilovers is if ur gonna spend $700 why not wait and save another $250 and get BC's!! which every review says there great!! i havent heard one bad thing about the BC's. even my one budyy has them on his SLAMED daily driven 06 STI and he love them, everywinter he raises it back up and throws stock tires on cuz we usually get good snow in NJ... some people have told me i didnt wait long enough to let them break in but i mean come on, between the broken trunk hinge and mouth guard i had to wear when i was driving it so i didnt break my teeth, i couldnt take it!! LOL and my other vehicle is a diesel truck lifted on 40" tires with leaf springs on all 4 corners... so i can tolerate a pretty stiff ride. haha

I have GS type rs coilovers and they are a stiff ride but not to bad.. they really do a good job for handling. but mine only a year old have blown the struts on all four. going to call customer service today to see if they will replace them. overall review would be.. (for the money) 3.8.
