Are u going to wire the avcs cable? Let me know how it all goes, I'm tryin to do a swap on my 03 wagon. Going to same ej207 v8 twinscroll setup.

i already wired in the avcs i will know if i did it right when she goes for her first run haha. if you have any questions ill be gald to help

Quick question what AC an powersteering belts do I use I thought they were the same but the Subaru dealer said there's like 3 different ones I think I confused him haha. Thanks for the info in advance guys

I can say im pretty much finished with the whole swap except that i broke the stock boost solenoid grrr any one want to recommend a good aftermarket one since the dealer wanted 150 for a stocker an i dont play that game haha...opinions on a good one please ppl

I just went with the Grimmspeed on my JDM V8 swap works great no issues

Or get the same MAC valve from http://www.heitek.com/contact.php for 20$, you just have to wire it in.

thats what i was looking at i need to retune for that too right. jus making sure. and what is the difference with the ac unit the plugs are different.

Theres a write up on here somewhere I believe, just got to search i wanna say tnscoob did it cant remember.

Like said above alot of these EBCS can be made simply by ordering the solenoids through the Mcmaster Carr catalog just need the plug or just buy the Grimmspeed.

You don't NEED the right plug you can just hardwire it in or just get a random 2 pin plug from a hobby shop or electrical supply. Hell its a solenoid so polarity does not even matter.

Use your stock AC compressor so you dont have to get the refrigerant refilled, you just have to swap the AC bracket for the US one.

Finished An She Fired Right Up i am one happy subi owner haha. motor sounds so nice. i have an few what i think is vacuum leaks an a rough bouncy idle..gonna re check lines an give the ICAV an MAF a good cleaning. and i probably need a tune asap. oh and that solenoid i broke wasnt the boost one it was the purge control solenoid so i just capped them.. i wanna tell you guys all how thankful i am for the help you guys provided me with to get through this an if any one has any questions ill share what i know.
