Oh it's a business. For the Suns it's a business that has grabbed talent at inopportune times. See Charles, Rondo, and Joe Johnson.

Grabbed Barkley too late, shipped Rondo and Johnson too early.

Which is exactly what the lakers need for their bench.

The starting line up will have no problem what so ever on offense. The bench however was absolutely awful last season. That and he will most likely be a backup PF behind gasol, with ebanks as the backup SF.

Jamison can't defend for squat there's no chance of him guarding the lebrons, durants and carmelos of the league.

I hope OKC nuts up and pays the luxury tax to keep Ibaka and Harden.

In other news, the thunder have signed both Hasheem Thabeet and Daniel Orton. They're trying to have the tallest and most under achieving bench possible.

*ahem* Orlando fan, here. It was plainly obvious Howard had outgrown Orlando and nothing was going to keep him from leaving. Teh ironing is he did not want to follow Shaq.

i think i'm safe from him seeing this since he hates basketball (what a homo lol).

and yes, kobe said that as long as he's a laker that gasol will stay and it looks like the GM/owner do listen to him...go coach kobe!

I wish one of Oklahoma or LA was in the East, so that the Heat would have to go through both of them for a repeat.

I can see Oklahoma - LA beat eachother up in the WCF only to face a Heat team that coasted through the East.

Guess the Lakers are willing to pay the taxes. Saw a line of $34 million in 13-14 for just six players (Kobe, DH, Gasol, Nash, Blake, Hill).

Just wish the Bulls would have these kind of balls.

The feeling here is that they will sign Harden over Ibaka if it comes down to that. It will be interesting to see how Percy Jones fits in and whos minutes he gets.

lakers have '**** you' money. it's only the most profitable sports team in all sports...easy to believe when courtside/floor tickets are 100 billion dollar bucks.

Not even close. Lets high five about Dwight though! The Lakers will be so much fun to watch this year. Now we just need a guard off the bench who can play some D.

http://www.forbes.com/sites/kurtbade...aluable-teams/

92 Dream Team special at the beginning of tonight's Olympic coverage.

Some scenes not shown during the NBA TV special.
