We had the chance to take Mike's 2010 WRX to the strip and get some passes in. We made 12 passes ( one or 2 flew out the window on a pass lol )
Slowest pass was a 12.1 fastest was a 11.73 Car went 11.90 or faster 7-8 times. Still on the stock tires with 34k miles on them.
We will be swapping in the 16s and sticky tires soon and going for a few more tenths!

Felt good to get another VF in to the 11s, this one makes 5!!

You've got to be careful talking about records around here, people tend to get really upset, especially since you took out the passenger seat, rear seat, and spare. There's going to have to be a second category for this.

Very nice job guys! I love seeing stock turbos do well.

Hey JR how much do you think the e85 helps the ET? I know it's a big difference just wondering how much I'm guessing 45 horse or so?

I have tuned the TS Vf37/207 combo. They make a wider power band then the standard 2.5ltr, but around the same WHP.

20-21psi, no need to run much more then that. all it does is make more low end TQ which isnt really needed in this case. Just more stress if anything

Pumpgas this setup tends to make between 300-310whp.

LMAO.. I know that is why this was done. We dont care for "world records" much. Just like going fast!

\

Header will more then likely not provide much room here.
I think in the cooler weather with some better tires it will def go 11.40s. The corrected 1/4-mph for the DA on the 11.72 pass was 11.586 @ 118.449 MPH. So the car is there, we just need the weather to be on our side.

This car would comfortably go 11.9-12.1s with just 93. The Difference in whp is anywhere from 35-50whp.
Same track conditions on 93 I would expect 12.2-3s out of this car. As this car sits with a 60ft it would go 11.50-11.60s in cooler weather.

Congrats....my best was 11.82 at 116.30mph...your track is 600feet elevation..very nice and your car is about 40lbs lighter cause the 11s are wider and heavier but thats no excuse. Makes me regret selling my vf52. I might just have to buy another one. You trapped .5mph faster and beat me by a 1/10th...If she has a 6speed put some drag radials on her

It was 85-89 degress with a density altitude of 2800+
The 6spd weighs 50-60lbs more then your 5spd alone, rear end another 10, stock wheels? And sunroof ..
I'm guessing we are about. 80-100lbs heavier

We got some taller tires that aren't 34,000 mile old all seasons and won't be shifting 5th.. expect another 2mph minimally from that.

Thanks for the motivation DJ!

Wow......I tried being a good sport. You didnt use 5th dont lie. You clearly stated the 6speed does 116 easy in 4th. Heat doesn't really hurt you when you run meth or e85... I like the far away shots of the car, far away shots of the turbo, no interior pics. Looks good junior? Let me guess, no bumper support, did you pull 300 lbs out of the car? Couldn't do it with with the weak 5speed huh? You know I gotta bust your balls

Garbage 60ft times and 116traps mean you pulled some serious weight or you were knocking with that tmic. Congrats one of the best tuners in the USA ran a tenth faster than me lol. I can just seeing you tune the car in between each run with your laptop ...Math proves that. As you stated before, You talk crap and back it up tho...Ill give you that no matter what little tricks you had up your sleeve

Now the party is picking up!!
I know your are the most bad ass wrx out there, so I will take it easy on you.

No 5th shift? Notice I'm almost 3mph faster then you to the 1/8th? Well the 5th gear shift will kill mph up top. If you race as much as I do, or even had a little bit of a clue... you would know this.
I can post up a log so you can see the RPM drop and possibly a video as well, but you can barely hear the shift

Heat doesn't hurt? I will mail you a VF52 throw it on your car and go back up your 11.82 in 90 degree weather.. I bet you don't go faster then 12.0-1

It is a daily driver, has 34000 miles for a reason. Had the spare/trunk stuff out, pass seat and rear seat. Then we threw them back in and drove home.

POS 5spd broke last year, but Adrian did go 11.6s with his VF on the 5spd. So I know it can be done, because we did it 4yrs ago

Garbage 60fts? You went 1.68(once) on light weight wheels and nitto 555s which are basically drag radials... I know I have the 20" version of them on my GTR that cuts 1.52
I went 1.67 on bald stock all seasons (once)
Imagine that 1.6 on my 11.73 pass? 11.65s??? LOL
TMIC knocking? I went 117.XXmph, went faster to the 1/8th every pass but 1, I ran 12 passes in 1hr and went quicker/ faster then your 11.82 about 4-5times with the inferior TMIC.. Still think you need an FMIC?

Just having some fun DJ, bringing some track excitement to NASIOC, rather then the 1000000s of meaningless dyno charts.

I know what it takes and it isn't that easy.. although it may seem like it is, and I do have a formula that works. Takes some driving and good parts selection, you did both and I do give you props.

Next slips I post of this car will be in the 11.4-5 range when it cools down

little brats like u are what make jr want to not post, he merely said facts in his posts and now u call him out as a liar...?

I wish I today and only for today was a mod, I would put u in time out(for the same points i've got b4 on here "being a tool")

djc, I went 1.6 ft times on bald toyo's on heavy rotas and out of alignment, do I go around thinking I am cool? please...this is the first time i've even mentioned it, imagine what jr, who does this everyday, pulls off..

why don't u just keep quiet already...you child attitudeman!

I'm in the Chicago suburbs, so REALLY not close at all. Milan is a great spot; hope the prep is there for that Termi.

I've seen plenty of people talking about it, but not enough to figure out what the deal is in actually tuning it that way.

Still pondering away...
