@ the dude who doesn't know how to ride his bike!

As a fellow CBR rider...this just disgusts me

I'm glad you caught him!

As far as his riding skills, we all had to learn at some point.

Either way total douche for trying to get away.

Wow.. that's pretty wild. Glad he pulled over.. maybe he was just waiting for that parking lot since there wasn't much of a shoulder.

BTW -- those black SVNS look great on that outback.

He was passing the 2 friends behind me and then when he came up to me the road starts to curve to the left slightly and he locked his rear brake trying to slow down.

No he was definitely trying to get away, no doubt about it.

That Outback is WRX swapped and those are RPF1's.

Rewatch vid, 'cause it's worth it. Op clearly tells the Iraq Commando that he's on camera.

I have nothing but respect for soldiers, but this douchefag can't drive a bike, nearly caused a huge wreck, ran scared, couldn't get away from a car on a bike, can't figure out neutral, gets down on his knees in the B.J. position after you caught him, is practically crying, THEN wants to pull the "I'm in the military, brave and invincible card"? He needs to go practice racing that bike along the side of a cliff next time...

Epic capture. I couldnt believe that when I saw it, and then I couldnt believe how relaxed you were about it. How fast would you say he was pushing that bike?

What a jerk... Did he admit that he knew he hit you? Or did he play the ignorance card? He obviously knew, especially the way he kept looking back to see if you were still there.

(hint: he should be leaning with the bike.)

Then there's the way he slows way down for the corners and takes horrible lines through them.

He's a squid that has no idea how to ride.

I was able to keep my cool but trust me I was ready to bash some heads. He was apologizing like crazy and when I told him he's lucky to be alive, he then pulls out the military "card" saying that he went to Iraq, blah blah blah and that he would have been fine. Like I said, the damage to the car was minimal.

Here's where the camera is mounted:

Ahh, that makes sense. My brother told me the flat part on the tire is called a 'chicken strip' hahaha pretty funny.

Where did this happen by the way? If its in Washington I want to drive on that road sometime! Looks like a great drive.

What an idiot though he was luck too image if he clipped you on the front bumper and fell off 2 feet in front of you and you could have just ran him over!! good luck with the situation hope everything gets fixed.

Actually, the chicken strip is the outside edge of the tire, the part that never touches the ground. The nice shiny new part of the tire that's left when the tire is worn out

awesome thread, and cool video! good story. lucky the damage was minimal and the rider didnt go down.

i find it impressize he managed to stay on the bike after the clip, despite showing his noobness with the rest of his lack of riding skillz.

It's a DIY mount that I created after seeing this thread on IWSTI:
http://www.iwsti.com/forums/how-inst...unt-point.html

I used a ball head swivel mount that I had laying from one of my camera flash stands.

Correction: that flat spot on the tire is not a chicken strip.

Chicken strips are the sides of the tire that havent seen pavement yet. the more you lean, the more it'll go away - but just because you lean the bike doesnt mean you can corner right - maintenance throttle, body position, lines, blahblahblah take into account (nerd rage!). That flat spot on his tire means he's a lametard riding in a straight line too much.

first of all, no gear, secondly, horrible body position, 3rd, horrible lines. The guy's a squid and rides like *****. Plate reposition/delete lame-o.

trying to overtake at that speed was very squidish.

glad he pulled over, hope you never see him again. hope i never see him on my bike ever.
