So I just did some research, and it hurts to say it, but formula 1 cars are way faster that MOTO gp bikes.

At the same time, I've only seen one or two cars on the street that could remotely even come close to keeping up with a sport bike in the mountains.

I'm really done now, back on topic.

After seeing this video and a few others, I think I will be taking my gopro with me everywhere. Never know when someone is going to do something really stupid, and it sure is awesome to have it caught on camera.

OP, I love the wheels on your car. I've always been a huge sucker for V7 STI wheels.

Don't get me wrong I love bikes and often go away on 3-4 day road trips with experienced Sportsbike R1GixxerBlade riding buddies I've known for 30 years ( a couple ex racers ) to our best twisties but have found most performance cars are driven by plonkers who when trying even though I'm no ex-racer can distance gap within 2 corners but every so often you come across one who CAN drive in an STI, EVO, M3, HSV etc and find they are very hard work to get away from through the twisties and if they can keep up I let them pass happy to follow. Sports bikes just feel more exhilarating to ride fast than any car can and ad flavor to the expirience.

Don't sell your litre bike short through the twisities, watch IOM TT most new liter bikes are faster than 600s because there is hardly any weight difference and the Liter bikes are easier to ride fast with more torque everywhere noting the fastest rider we've ever tried to stay with ( and failed ) through my favourite Alpine twisties was on a KTM SuperDuke but he was a freak.

This war hasn't been going on for 22 years... Desert Storm lasted 3 days lol, then we weren't at "war" again until 2003. Yes there were special operation in Afghanistan shortly after 9/11 but the "War" didn't begin until 2003. So try taking about 12 years out of that 22 you threw out there... I understand you wanting to be funny/sarcastic, but you could really offend some vets, I'm pretty laid back but there are a lot of us who aren't lol

I have had a guy on a cbr600 try to act like a rebel on a bike when I was on the Highway here once. He began doing wheelies behind me to the point where I could not see his rear wheel, god forbid I hit the brakes on him. Then he continued to swerve close to my car and try to play around with me then takes off! I chased him for a few miles with my speedo locked on 160(not smart but he got us pissed). He slows down after awhile and as he begins to switch lanes to get off the next exit we cut into the exit lane and came to a complete stop with him. The rest of the story is not required to be told as my hotheaded friend had some fun with that guy.

I guess a bike makes some guy's balls grow until a car rips it off of them.

Best......video.......ever!

Gotta love the go pro cams! I was happy to see you didn't push him into getting hurt by leaving a decent gap, I figured you could drive by how you handled the turns. I was thinking he was going to eat it when he wasn't leaning with the bike, he is just lucky a few times starting with the tapping of your car. So why did he drop to his knees? Was he looking at the damage to the car?

My Honda made more HP completely stock that that ducati makes.

The tires on that bike are Pirelli Dragon Supercorsa Pro (which are street legal tires). They get greasy feeling at very high temps that are commonly reached when pushing them hard on a track. Tires rarely ever reach temps anywhere close to the temps they would at a track. Street tires are meant to heat up quickly and accept lots of heat cycles. Track tires are made to work well at high temps and suck at low temps. Between sessions, tire warmers are used to keep them up to temp so you don't eat crap on your first lap back out on the track. There is no comparison between a track tire and a street tire.

Here are some car lap records for that track: http://www.fastestlaps.com/tracks/ca...l_circuit.html
Here are some motorcycle lap records for that track: http://www.ngroadracing.org/circuits/cadwell_park.htm

I'm not going to argue anymore on the internet. I know that some people will never look at all of the facts and you can never "win". I just wanted to try to educate some people, but it's just impossible. If anyone has a question they would like my opinion on, feel free to ask, otherwise I'm backing out so this thread can get back on topic.
you're comparing times of modified supersports to stock cars? while there are some great cars on that list, definitely aren't the fastest around. street tires get greasy too, i don't see your point.

A motorcycle rider flies by someone, hits their car, and then tries to escape and finds out he isn't so successful?

Yeah, I'm sure he will become famous for that..

I love bikes, and plan to get one in the next year or so, but I don't see an ounce of motorcycle hate in here, just individual hate.

Yes, I'm sure this happened. You ran down some guy on a bike going 160 and your buddy trounced him when he couldn't get away from your uberness.

lol too funny.

You should title this - "how things happened in my mind, after some bike irritated me and I never saw him again"
