Default What is the red wire with the pink fuse for in the HU wireing harness?

i had just got the car and installed a fancy new HU
i didnt know what the Fuse wire was for, so i left it disconnected because i knew i didnt need it

little to my surprise, when running my wire for my amps, i noticed that hey, i have a factory sub under the drivers seat, awsome =)
(i didnt think i would have it because i dont have tweeters in the doors)

however it does not work, so am i correct to assume that the red wire with the fuse is the power wire for the sub?

will the sub work if i reconnect the red wire/fuse?

i just think it would be cool to act like a bass shaker, or help with kick drums

thanks!

usually, a red wire w/a fuse in automotive is an ignition wire. meaning, it's powered only when the key is turn to acc or on. where as a yellow w/a fuse is a constant power.

ya might wanna double check it w/a meter...but i'm guessing it's to power your sub.

I am pretty sure that pink inline fuse is the power wire for the sub.
