Default Window Tint?

Anyone know of a good window tinting shop near Worcester, MA? Looking for fair prices and a nice tint job. Also, recommendations on tint? I was thinking 35% since I believe that is the legal limit in most of the New England states, but do people actually get pulled over for window tint?

Thanks,
Paul

There are soooo many threads on this, the answers don't change. Get it done right, Tint King and Solar Solutions are common. Lots of people complain about getting hassled for tint, what they don't admit is they were probably driving like an asshat or have a loud car that attracted the unwanted attention. I've had dark tinted cars forever and never had an issue.

Thanks for the reply guys. Might use Solar Solutions as its a tad closer, and it seems like people prefer their tinting product. I'll also just be doing 35%, seems easier in the long run for me.

Thanks.

B and G Window tinting in Springfield does a phenomenal job for only $140.

35% on all glass besides windshield, which cannot be tinted unless you have a medical waiver.

Sucks broseph.

You can't tint the windshield below the AS-1 line even with a waiver. The rest is fair game.

I got mine done at solar solutions. If you are interested in checking their work out, let me know and I'll meet you somewhere in the area. I live right across from Fuji Steakhouse.

you can do 6" down the windshield in MA and 35 all around. anyway, Ziebart, on the edge of Shrewsbury and Worcester does an awesome job. They carry quality film too.

are you in MA i take it? gotta watch out for the factory tint included on top of what the installer puts on (or i should say underneath)

in ME that would pass, used to be 50% all around up here, but changed within last couple years to 35% fronts and anything goes behind the b-pillar. only annoying thing is you have to have a compliance certificate kept in your glovebox at all times in case you are pulled over, and to pass inspection

they check windows for inspection.. And staties suck. With 35% you will fail. Car has factory tint, like 95-90%, which makes 35.. 25 or 30

With the way our cars look i wouldn't give them a reason to pull you over. Not worth it unless you get 50%

not sure about that far down, but if you're willing to come up to portland the place i would recommend is http://www.portlandtint.com/automotive-film.html

they use high quality products and have done a wide range of applications

someone mentioned Ziebart in MA, well there is a Ziebart near the Biddeford/Arundel line as well and i have no prior experience with them i've know a couple guys that live in the area and say they are reasonable $$ and do a decent job

Anyone use S&S Window Tinting yet? I got a card on my window in the Burlington Mall the other day wondering if they are reputable. I called and the price they quoted me for a 4dr is too good to be true.
