Default stage 2 -1.4 feedback knock & dyn advance

2011 STI
AP Stage 2 AEM/93 standard map
aem intake
invidia catless DP (Stock catback)
93 sunoco

weather 68* / 65% humidity

I have some pulls that i logged and condensed into a couple docs. I have dynamic advance and feedback knock -1.4 and under (-1.4 - 0.1). Some pulls were in different gears.

any suggestions? target boost (19.5) seems right on, with a couple twitches of 20.2psi in there. i dont think that should be cause for concern. didnt notice and creep either. watched my defi boost gauge and ap.

im trying to do some research but what parameters are acceptable in dynamic advance ?

i know my a/f learn is good. it get nowhere near the + or - 8 threshold. i just see a bunch of -0.78 values at random times (low load and high load).

i just reflashed so could all of this be attributed to learning?

I saw an instance where knock occurred after tip in on the throttle, and the load was actually high. This is bad. But there is a lot of tip in knock, which I would think isn't that bad, but not optimal.

you seem to be confused on, is what the dynamic advance is.

dynamic advance is not a negative feedback, rather a positive one. dynamic advance has absolutely nothing to do with knock. the only factors that affect your dynamic advance is your current dam.

anything less than 1 will reference your dynamic advanced table as a percentage. for example if your dam is .75 you will use 75% of the values in your dynamic advance table. what this means is that a positive value of 4 in your dynamic advance would then be referenced as a 3.

dynamic advance is additional timing added on top of your base timing table before any knock correction or other timing compensations

If you can do so safely, try getting a 4th gear run from 2000 RPM on up (or 3rd if 4th is not safe). Your WOT runs in these logs are very short and the feedback knock you are seeing, for the most part, is due to throttle mash (which is generally noise). By doing a longer continuous run, you can better see what knock looks like without throttle noise coming into the picture and also is a good way to see how boost control is doing.

Dynamic advance is an ign. timing adder on top of a base (primary) ignition map. It is impacted by the dynamic advance multiplier (DAM) and feedback and fine knock learning. The reason why it is sometimes negative is that the dynamic advance in that area is low (say 0) and you had negative feedback or fine knock learning.
Dynamic advance (for 2.5L cars) = (dynamic advance max. map value * DAM) + feedback knock correction + fine knock learning

What is your AFR at WOT? If you are seeing the FKL under load once you do the log that Cobb suggested, you might be running a touch too much boost for the stock TMIC. I encountered a similar problem when I was stage 2. My options were to either run less boost or add more fuel. I chose to add more fuel and the FKL went away. I think I was running about 10.6:1 AFR after 5200 RPM's. Shortly afterwards I upgraded my intercooler.

You need to make it a smaller log with just the important WOT conditions. However, I did glance through it, and it doesn't seem to knock under WOT or high load conditions.
