Default How to remove swirls by hand

I heard that swirl x by meguiars doesn't actually fix the swirls it just masks it for a little while. That it's just a filler and eventually those swirls will show up again.

My question is what OTC product is good for removing swirls? (I got a Walmart, pep boys, VIP and a napa in my area) Keep in mind that I have to do this by hand since I don't have money for a DA.

I'm planning on claybarring and waxing my car so why not take the extra step to remove swirls.

I'm not going to say it's impossible... but damn near. If you want to try be hand youll need a good pad and something like megs 205 for a one step light scratch removal. Be prepared for hours upon hours if you actually want to remove surface defects. I've tried by hand many times and finally coughed up the $ for a PC DA; well worth the $130.

I just pick up the Wolfgang Twins after reading some good reviews on autogeek.net. It's a great place to get detailing information.

i know the autozones around here carry megs 105 which paired up with 205 will easily rid swirls. but its a lot harder doing it by hand tho.
